FLC -Safety Day Workshop

GRADES 1-7 DATE 18th March 2025

Workshop for Lower Grades (1-3)

Students from Grades 1 to 3 enthusiastically participated in the Safety Day Workshop, designed to raise
awareness about personal safety in various environments. The session was skillfully conducted by Ms.
Anika Abdullah and Ms. Maria Abdul Muqeeth.

Workshop for Higher Grades (4-7)

A separate and detailed workshop for Grades 4 to 7 was organized by Ms. Saman Yasir, Ms. Aneeqa
Ali, and Ms. Quratulain [Link] session focused on advanced concepts such as digital citizenship,
personal responsibility, handling emergencies, and understanding the importance of community safety.

Workshop Highlights

The workshop covered a wide range of critical topics:

• School Safety: Importance of discipline, following rules, and addressing bullying appropriately.
• Home Safety: Basic precautions to avoid accidents at home.
• Online/Cyber Safety: Guidelines for staying safe on the internet and protecting personal
information.
• Fire Safety: Fire prevention tips and emergency response steps.
• Playground Safety: Best practices for safe play during recess and sports activities.
• Road Safety: Following traffic rules, pedestrian awareness, and importance of safety gear.

Activities and Interactive Quiz

To further reinforce the learning, the younger students participated in fun activity worksheets related to
each safety topic. The workshop concluded with an interactive quiz, where students demonstrated
impressive enthusiasm and understanding of the safety rules discussed during the session.

Conclusion

The Safety Day Workshop was a great success, equipping students with essential knowledge and practical
skills to safeguard themselves at school, home, online, and in public spaces. Through a combination of
discussions, activities, and a fun quiz, students were able to grasp critical safety concepts in an enjoyable and
