2. Course Objectives:
 To understand the fundamental principles of financial management and the concept
of the time value of money.
 To develop knowledge on allocating, managing, and funding financial resources
for long-term decisions.
 To develop understanding of the short-term financial requirements and identify
appropriate funding resources.
 To understand the capital structure decisions, leverage, and to do EBIT – EPS
analysis to optimize financial performance.

3. Course Outcomes (COs):


After the completion of the course, the students will be able to:
CO1: Understand the role and application of financial management principles in
business decision-making.
CO2: Apply financial management concepts for corporate investment decisions, both
long-term and short-term.
CO3: Analyse the impact of financial costs and capital structure on the organization’s
financial health.
CO4: Evaluate decision-making frameworks to identify and resolve financial
management challenges effectively.
