Good morning/afternoon my dear brothers, I greet you once again
A pleasure to be with you in this Methodology Day that was very important to me.
expected.
I want to tell you that I remember that at the end of the course, where I had the grace to serve.
this year, course number 67 Diocese of La Rioja. I left with a lot of fire from the Holy Spirit and
eager to organize an event, it was my desire right? (Laughs) as the days go by my
Brother Oscar mentioned to me that there would be a possibility of a Zonal meeting... So
By the Grace of God we are here today... And well, very grateful for this.
Well, I introduce our topic of discussion.
This roll is called POSCURSILLO
We will start with the CONCEPT
1- What is the post-course? It is the third phase of the MCC method, it is key and decisive.
for our fourth day...
It is the time when the MCC proposal has to be made a reality.
Essential time that begins when the course ends and lasts A LIFETIME.
It must always be I N S E P A R A B L E from the Pre-Course and the Course.
Deepening the three encounters that arise in a workshop
The community method is aimed at increasing and promoting the conversion of the person.
through the experience and coexistence of fundamental Christian values to stir up
gospel the environments.
LASTLY AND NOT LEAST IMPORTANT
Without the post-cursillo, the path of the precursillo and the experience of the Cursillo can remain
RADICALLY diluted. (testimony if needed)
In the POST-CURSILLO, the Christians who have experienced a Cursillo of Christianity
they are acting, illuminating and transforming people, that is to say, they ferment the gospel
environments.
(SEE TESTIMONY group 64 onwards MAKE IT CLEAR THAT THE DISTANT ONE MUST FIND
WAY............................)
The post-course is a dynamic and open process, it helps us to be members of the Church in
the world.
It teaches us to put into practice a different life through the light we receive in the workshop.
And it does not exclude other paths of perseverance and Christian life (that is, that
let's participate in other movements or groups of the Church).
In the post-course period (as in other times), the dimension is attended.
personal and community
To personally develop one's own vocation and cultivate the Christian life.
In community, to live the fundamental Christian as members of the Church and of
MCC.
PURPOSE OF THE POST-COURSE
For each person, the post-course SEARCH:
RENEW, ACCELERATE, AND PERFECT the personal conversion initiated in the course.
DEEPEN THE TRIPLE ENCOUNTER (With oneself, with Christ, and with the brothers)
Enable the SANITY with Grace, with the 3 Cs (Conscious growing and shared)
a The way of the Tripod (piety, study, and action)
Increase the awareness of being YEAST of the Gospel in the Environments
Provide holiness with group meetings and Ultreyas that enhance and empower
the FA.
Pope Francis tells us:
The other ecclesial institutions, grassroots communities, movements, and other forms of
association, they are a wealth of the Church that the spirit raises up to evangelize all
environments and sectors. Many times they bring a new evangelizing fervor and a
capacity for dialogue with the world that renews the Church. But it is very healthy that it does not
They lose touch with that rich reality of the parish of the place, and they integrate.
joyfully in the organic pastoral of the particular Church. This integration will prevent...
they only keep a part of the Gospel and of the Church, or they become nomads without
"roots" (Evangelii Gaudium, No. 29).

MEANS OF THE POST-COURSE

The Christian way of life of the movement that is based on friendship
has two branches;
The First; is the Group Meeting, where the individual growth of each is focused.
group member
And the second is the ultreya where we aim for the growth of the community.
As we sometimes hear or with the rolls; these trends are not an end in themselves but
a means to achieve what the MCC seeks as its purpose for them, that they complement each other
with ecclesial realities.
(EXAMPLE OF ISOLATED MEETINGS). It is sought (it is promoted, it is boosted) that from the
personal and community development is embedded in the life of the Church to build the Kingdom
of God. Be it with these means of MCC or with any means of the Church.

GROUP MEETING
The group meeting is:
A group of people who are friends and Christians, who gather to become closer friends and
more Christians.
Friendship taken to the realm of the supernatural that turns it into circumstance
significant that enables the continuous and progressive experience of the fundamental
Cristiano
(God loves us in Christ) and its consequence, the Christian fermentation of environments.
In the group meeting, the friends gather:
To put into practice and stimulate brotherly charity.
To strengthen the apostolic dimension of those who make it up.
To grow in perseverance and on the path to holiness.
To carry out the review of life in friendship and to support each other in difficult times.
To make the words of Jesus a reality:
WHERE TWO OR MORE ARE GATHERED IN MY NAME, THERE I AM IN THE MIDST OF THEM.
For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.

We can also appreciate two elements.

The Group: formed by the people who make it up and who, by mutual agreement, navigate through.
Together this community path.
The Meeting: It is the Instrument by which the encounter of people takes place.
constituent the group.
What I want to get to with this is that we surely hear that without a group meeting there is no
group. And there is no group without a meeting.
But in the movement, what we need to be clear about is that WHAT INTERESTS US IS NOT
HOLD MEETINGS, BUT THERE SHOULD BE GROUPS OF CHRISTIANS.
The meeting generates the bond, the bond generates friendship and friendship generates the G R O U P.
A person who encountered the Lord, and with dignity, in the Cursillo needs
an absolute way of a group of siblings that makes him feel loved and accompanied.
And this brother shares his experiences.
We call this in the group meeting:
LIFE REVIEW
The life review is an exercise to connect the mind and the heart with Christ.
ALLOW:
HAVE AN INNER DISCERNMENT THAT SHOWS US WHAT GOD WANTS FOR
OUR LIFE.
DESCRIBE DAY BY DAY THE WORK OF THE LORD IN US
See how God with the Holy Spirit shapes us with, as, for, and by Christ.
Show that it is feasible to live in holiness in the environments in which one integrates, renewing and
accelerating the conversion.
Life review in the Group meeting;
It's a dialogue between people (as we mentioned earlier)
They discern about the events in the life of each of the members.
It is a meeting with Christ through the brothers
It is to share the apostolic successes and failures of which we are a part, setting aside a
my account on actions of mercy, study and action.
It is authentic friendship where the Christian values of each one merge and blend.
the members of the group.
LET'S SEE THE............

TRIPOD (PIETY, STUDY, ACTION)

Given what we have been mentioning previously, we will take a new look at the
tripod.
Thus... our review of life in light of the tripod transforms into piety, study and
effective action in media for our Apostolate, for our mission from the Lord to others,
and especially the distant ones, realizing that this Tripod that challenges us gives us
You have to lead to discern how God "PASS" in our life.
We must set aside any connotation of task, duty, obligation, etc.
Tripod, as we said, to generate change in us, to see it with NEW
ATTITUDES.
Yes, new attitudes, that is to say with a new style, as young people say, to add some vibe.
a new wave whenever we talk about style, I repeat to reinterpret the tripod as something
that comes DIRECTLY from our heart, I comment on the attitudes:
Piety
ATTITUDE OF INTIMATE AND PERMANENT UNITY WITH CHRIST (ATTITUDE OF PIETY IN
HARD AND SIMPLE MOMENTS OF LIFE, FOR EXAMPLE, FOOD ON THE TABLE
When we have this attitude, a longing to stay automatically arises.
mercy (for example, the daily rosary).
Study
Attitude of SEARCH, attitude of knowing and loving God more (in the beloved people)
we seek details and special moments and we imagine how to achieve it and we
we strive for example
It is good that we review how my relationship with God is going, for example, I think I know Him.
too much? (cold testimony)
When we learn about God and His things, we have multiple benefits for ourselves and for
The whole Church shapes us and helps us understand more and better.
As we learned those of us who gave the study (laughs) It is to open the mind and the heart because
One does not love what one does not know (Saint Augustine), he who does not know the scriptures does not know.
Christ (Saint Jerome)
Action
It is seen as an attitude of permanent service to the brothers where they are very
the important works that are the ones that evangelize.
Every apostolic action starts from a permanent attitude of charity towards the brother.
Our apostolic mission to ferment the environment is IMPORTANT, we must
proclaim it to our brothers and especially to those who are distant.
Because every action reminds us of Santagotene as part of Faith.
ACTION BASICALLY GUIDES US TO BUILD THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
Faith without works is dead... James 2:17.
WHEN WE CHECK THE TRIPOD
WE TRUST THAT GOD WANTS AND SEEKS OUR UNION WITH HIM UNCEASINGLY
Piety
WE TRUST THAT YOU WANT TO REVEAL YOURSELF TO US SO THAT WE CAN KNOW YOU INTIMATELY
(STUDY)
WE TRUST THAT YOU WANT TO SHARE WITH US THE MISSION OF THE BETWEEN
MEN (ACTION)
Piety and study seek to place the kingdom of God and action within us.
TAKE IT TO OTHERS...
To make it clear, when we review life from the doing, we turn everything into
we rut and put aside the attitudes...
THE REVIEW OF LIFE IS AN EXERCISE TO MATURE OUR FAITH AND GROW IT
HUMILITY. (testimony if needed)

Fundamentals of Group Meeting

There is a high possibility of a group meeting being generated...

In a team, at the end of an ultreya, during a filming (How many of us experienced that
In the most unexpected way, we ended up forming a group of Christian friends...
One of its characteristics that comes from the course and the mentality of the MCC is the
heterogeneity of its members; that is to say, by people from different places, jobs, etc.

Features of the Group Meeting

BASIC Foundation OF FRIENDSHIP
Try to avoid mixed meetings
Take care of the 4S (Seriousness, weekly schedule, confidentiality, sincerity)
Do not forget respect, prudence, and the desire to grow in conversion.
testimony
(MOVING ON TO ANOTHER TOPIC)
THE ULTREYA
As we learned in the workshop and at school, the ultreya is (they will surely paraphrase me
many brother leaders) the Meeting of the group meetings.
It means; BEYOND, also FORWARD. It is complementary to the group, and it is also a
post-course tool,
as a characteristic; that brings together all those who participated in a course,
In it, promotion is encouraged and we must promote it;
Living together in the Diocesan community.
Sharing our Christian life.
Conversion (The 3 Cs: Conscious, Growing, and Shared).
Growth in Piety, Study, and Action.
* AND LET'S NOT FORGET (that, although it may seem small and easy) The Apostolic Mission in the
respect for the environment.
The climate and coexistence at the ultreya
Always try to have the weather of the third day of the course (let's remember the
leaders DAY OF CHARITY). That the atmosphere has; Humility, affection, naturalness, equality
and above all charity.
To recreate ourselves in a way that we live the fundamental Christian (God in Christ loves us)
The ultreya is a school to learn how to love as God loves us.
ATTITUDES OF THE LEADER IN THE ULTREYA

As we heard earlier from the leader:

You must put all your ability into greeting, welcoming, and motivating the brother who...
arrives.
Let's make things HAPPEN, because the sign that we are letting the opportunity pass is
when we are just spectators and in evaluation. (How many times has it happened to us)
Act as a worker of love and mercy, considering our brothers.
newer ones, helping to open their hearts, share their experiences, and feel that their
experiences and their life IS IMPORTANT.
Humble act of mixing with our brothers with less experience, making
teaching in the best way, not interrupting, helping them, because the leaders do not
they should give advice, sermons, and homilies. Sharing how I live the principles and values
what I learn and learned from Jesus in the retreat and in my Christian life.

Search and service act; looking for the brother who is not coming, accompanying the one who
live far away, asking if you need anything, (as we learned from the REINTERPRETATION Action
AGAIN OUR ATTITUDE) Listening with our heart to what we feel and perhaps do not
have someone to talk to, let them know that we are close, that they can count on us.
With details using what we have at our disposal and our imagination.
Help and accompany from the service structures (school and secretariat). (TESTIM)
And let's finally see the parts of an Ultreya.
Each diocese, according to its particularities, will organize the parts of an ultreya.
To take into account
Approximate duration: one and a half hours
It is purely testimonial; catechesis is not done, sometimes it is convenient that from time to time...
When organizing, explain what a testimony is and how it should be given.
It can be done with the celebration of the Mass
They must be frequent in the organization of the movement in each diocese.
AND AS A FINAL PART IN THIS OUR POST-CURRICULAR ROLL
Other means of the Post-Course
The MCC, in its intention of growth in Faith and in the apostolate, the movement offers
concrete means for perseverance such as:
Where are we TODAY methodology workshops.
Income and Closures of Courses
Retros organized by the MCC
Training sessions and workshops for leaders
Participation in service structures
Plenaries and gatherings, diocesan, zonal, and national
Participation in workshops and methodology days.
*ETC

FINAL
Let us be clear about the idea, brothers, when we participate in a course and someone comes.
distant brother, make him FIND A PATH OF PERSEVERANCE
Brothers Leaders, may the light of the Lord enter forcefully into our hearts, for the
disposition, the delivery and the service for our post-course.
As Pope Francis says, let us work for a culture of encounter.
Let's not allow the enemy to steal this overwhelming instrument of evangelization from us.
