THE SPIRITUAL FOOD

The manna Exodus 16:4.

God had promised to provide food in the desert.


The bread that God gave them was not something processed, a product from any bakery in the
desert, was coming straight from the sky to where the town was.

That manna was a supernatural gift from God.


Daily, 4500 tons of bread fell for them, for 40 years!

So we have no reason to get discouraged because even in the desert the Lord fulfills.
his promises and supplies our needs of celestial bread,

Sometimes we may find ourselves in deserted situations where everything seems


to be very hot, dry, lifeless or without growth and we believe we are going in the direction
the opposite of our dreams.

Where it seems that God is very far from us and His promises even further. Without
embargo, He is close because he has promised us that he will never leave us.
forsake (Hebrews 13:5)

What did God teach Israel through the manna?

He wanted to be known; His great desire was for them to know Jehovah his God. If
they knew God, they would know everything else; when man knows his God, he
know thyself

he taught them, His care for them, that He was their God and they were His people, and that He
would be willing to provide for them.
Well, each person had their own mana gum. No woman and no child were
forgotten.
Every morning there was the manna, precisely where they needed it.

Furthermore, Jehovah taught them His greatness. He had taught them that in Egypt, through His
powerful plagues, and in the Red Sea, when He parted the sea with His staff
powerful. But now she lovingly taught them Her greatness, first, by the
amount of mana. There was enough for all of them.

The children of Israel also knew the immutability of God, for they were
fed with manna throughout their journey through the desert…..

And He also showed His wisdom in the amount provided, for it was always just.

The manna is the body of Christ.

The bread of life came down from heaven to give life to the world John 6:35-48-51.

It was the bread from heaven for Israel in the desert.

Do we live a supernatural and miraculous life?

The men asked about Jesus Christ, 'Who is this?'

They didn't need to analyze or get an explanation of the manna; they only needed to eat it.
1 Peter 1:8
We don't need to understand everything related to Christ; ONLY ACCEPT Him, then the Spirit.
Saint will give us understanding.

The symbol of the word manna:

a. Trivial. Indicates humiliation and insignificance.


b. Round. Indicate the deity, _all stars are round_, and eternity for it.
A circle has no beginning or end.
c. White. Indicate the total purity.
Sweet. Indicates peace and joy.
e. Abundant. Talks about everything, _believes, hopes, suffers, endures_.
f. Continuation. Perseverance and fidelity.
g. It never failed in 40 years. It speaks of the permanent provision.
He fell in the desert. In affliction and solitude, the manna falls abundantly.

At what time was the manna collected?


The Manna fell very early in the morning.
Exodus 16:21 says that every morning the people woke up early to seek food for the
day.
What time do we get up to feed on Christ?
At what time do you rise to talk to God?

David used to wake early to collect the Manna, one day he was in the desert of Judea, it says the
Psalm 63:1-2
Isaiah rose early to gather food after the people were restored Isaiah 26-
9.

Is it that the neighbor gets up first, the seller, the one who does not know God,
those who have not yet been forgiven, restored, baptized...
Is he more important in his work than you and I, who have so much to thank him for?
God, have we received so many blessings from God?

The Manna was the sustenance for the people.


Imagine that family that suddenly says today we are not going to wake up early, let's stay.
sleeping .... or let's go for a walk ...

Let's think about what can happen: the children start to cry,
bad temper takes hold of their parents,..... weakness begins to arrive....

The situation that many households are experiencing,


The spiritual state of many brothers⚰⛓ is due to the fact that they do not wake up early to
gather the Manna.

The manna was gathered every day; it could not be collected for several days Exodus 16:19-20...

Just as it is not possible to nourish the body through a memory of food, so


We cannot sustain the spiritual soul with past experiences either...

Sometimes we want to stay with last month's prayer, with the sermon of
now 15 days, but the anointing must be received every day, every morning, the anointing has to
to be fresh in us. Psalm 92:10.

The Manna had to be collected before the sun came up.

Do you know what happened to the town? They got tired of waking up early, they got tired of the manna.
Israel grew tired of eating the manna and complained about God.
Numbers 11:4-9.
They went from singing to murmuring quickly.

When we sat by the meat pots, when we ate bread to the full:
Israel selectively remembered the past and thought that their time in Egypt was a
good weather.
They lost sight of God's future for them, and they also distorted the past.

This way of thinking is common among those who gossip.

You have brought us out to this desert to starve this whole multitude.

They insist that Moses and Aaron had wicked or bad intentions. Of course that
Moses and Aaron had no interest in killing the people of Israel, but this was a
horrible accusation. But for a murmuring heart, it is easy to accuse the
a person with whom they complain has the worst intentions.

How lamentable it is when we grow tired of the things of God, when worshiping, the
prayer loses its flavor for us.

Each family had to gather the Manna; they could not send the neighbor to collect it.

The bread had to be collected every morning. And each person had to take care of it, because
it had to be a personal experience.

There are people who want to live or feed on the prayers of others.

Christ compares the Manna with the living bread that came down from heaven, the Manna nourishes the
body for a little while.
Jesus, the true bread of life, offers his flesh and his blood as food for life.
eternal. John 6:31, 35-48.

The Manna that speaks to us in Exodus pointed to the true bread that came down from heaven.
who is Jesus Christ.

All Israelites had to gather the Manna every day in sufficient quantity.
In the same way, each believer seeks Christ as their food before starting.
each task, in order to be provided.

The people needed the Manna until they entered the promised land. Joshua 5:10-12.
We still need Christ.
