Today, as we celebrate Teacher's Day, I propose to the great ones (families and teachers)

to do the exercise of remembering what we learned when we were kids and went to the
school. That is to say, to remember our teachers... but not just any of them, but especially to
those "teachers of life", to whom we were shaped, to whom we became more human, to the

Perhaps the memories that come to mind are not related to teachers.

Some of us were lucky enough to have one or two teachers that are not forgotten; others, in

Do we remember those moments as memorable? I think for two reasons: because we learned
important things and why they taught us in a different way.
Let's bring back some of those memories: the teacher's challenge after the fight with a
companion, the talk of relief after a humiliation, a joke, a smile, a question, a
apology request... In school, we learned all these things, and we were even lucky
to learn them by playing or experimenting.
In those moments, we learned foundational things that we must continue to teach today.
Our children: that violence never serves to solve anything (because it creates more problems),
it is important to take some time to think, it is okay to say what we feel and believe,
that we are all different and that is good, and that no human being is more important than another,
that solidarity is essential...
There is an African proverb that says: 'It takes a whole village to raise a child.'
These words are addressed to all the adults present here, whether we are fathers, mothers or
teachers: because we are all "teachers of life." We are all responsible for education.

Thank you, teachers, for making school the most trustworthy collective place and the one that provides the

reality.

Words of Beginning

Teacher's Day is a very special day for all educators, because on it

we remember Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, an Argentine who took serious concern
through education and this way began the path that we are currently traveling
all of us.

One day you decided what you wanted to be... You wanted to be a person who gives love.
to the children who passed through your life; being aware that they were not your children and that
Surely with time, as they grow up, they would forget about you. A person who would help to
a bunch of eager little eyes to discover the rainbow.
A person who would be like a bricklayer, who would tear down walls and build every day.
bridges to be able to cross to other shores and be able to return. A person who would work
in a space where imagination knows no limits ...

Therefore, we are going to begin this event by honoring and congratulating all those
people who chose this noble profession, decided, I decided, you decided to be a teacher.

Flag entry

Our flag is a pride of all Argentinians.

When they enter a venue to preside over an event, it moves our hearts and we feel
that their colors must be defended.

With education, those colors will always be affirmed in the feelings of each
inhabitant of this land.

We receive Our Flag with a warm applause, carried by the students:

Maria Jose Perez
Esteban Ibañez Brahim
Facundo Yunes

National anthem

Today, all Argentinians need to be more united than ever to fight.

for this beautiful country, we propose that we sing with deep feeling the
strophes of the Argentine national anthem, demonstrating the pride we feel at
sing it.

Hymn to Sarmiento
He can be considered the father of the classroom, as a man who fought 'with the sword,
with the pen and the word” for his ideas. Today, as we remember him, let us imitate his love for the
books, their eagerness to learn and teach, and the firm conviction of their ideas.

Let us sing the anthem to Sarmiento.

Allusive words

Next, we will listen to the words related to the teacher's speech:

Removal of the ceremonial flag

The flag is lowered, but it responds to this phrase that says: even if we don't see it.
it is always there. Because it will continue to be in each one of us, reminding us that
We are Argentinians.
With a warm round of applause, we bid farewell to the ceremonial flag, until it returns.
be with us at another celebration.

Danced Scheme

Next, the students of 4th, 5th, and 6th grade will pay tribute to their teachers with
a Dance Scheme, with movement and height led by the Professor of
Physical Education Gabriela Lavaissiere.

Poem
As long as there is a teacher, the children and the school will be a valid promise of a
better future. On this day we want to renew in each one of us that commitment
to teach and train.

Students from the Initial Level will dedicate a poem to their teachers.

Farewell

We have remembered Domingo Faustino Sarmiento and with him all teachers.

We thank everyone present, the kids for their dedication and effort, and
we ask for a final applause "For all the teachers of this school who with love and
hope we magically touch the life of every child that passes through our classrooms
