“Daily Routines”
I have a structured daily routine that I follow each day as a college student. I wake up
at 6 a.m. every morning. After waking up, I take a refreshing shower and perform ablution with
cold water. Then, I pray Fajr and spend some time reciting the Quran to start my day on a
positive note.
At 7 a.m., I enjoy breakfast with my family. My mother usually prepares a delicious
meal that includes fried rice, eggs, fried chicken and fresh vegetables. After breakfast, I get
ready for college by putting on my uniform and packing my bag with all the necessary books
and supplies.
I leave home at 7:30 a.m. and either riding a motorcycle or take public transportation
to campus, which is conveniently located nearby. My classes begin at 8 a.m. and typically end
around 2 p.m. During lectures, I engage in subjects like methodology of islamic studies,
literature, and Introduction to Indonesian Law alongside my classmates.
Once classes are over, I head home and usually arrive by 2:30 p.m. Upon returning, I
perform ablution again and pray Dzuhur. After that, I have lunch, often enjoying leftovers from
dinner or something quick that my family has prepared.
Following lunch, I take a short break to relax before diving into my homework or
studying for upcoming exams around 4 p.m. After completing my study session, I perform
ablution once more and pray [Link] prayer, I often help my mother with household chores
like tidying up or watering the plants. In the late afternoon, if time permits, I play badminton
(sometimes) with friends or catch up on my favorite TV shows.
At 6 p.m., I take another shower and perform ablution before praying Maghrib. Dinner
is usually a family affair where we gather to share our day’s experiences over a hearty meal.
After dinner, I perform ablution again and pray Isya. Once my prayers are done, I like to unwind
by reading a book or scrolling through my phone to catch up on social media or the latest news.
Finally, I aim to go to bed by 10 p.m or 11 p.m., ensuring that I get enough rest to
recharge for another productive day ahead. This daily routine keeps me organized and fulfilled
as I navigate through college life!
