CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE AT JAMMU AND SRINAGAR.
ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE
J&K Sports Council and Sports Authority of India (SAI) -
Khelo India Division under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports
(Gor), has initiated of setting up the Khelo India State Centre of
Excellence (KISCE) for Fencing at New Indoor Sports Complex,
M.A. Stadium, Jammu & Rowing at Water Sports Centre, Srinagar
to nurture the best talent of the UT of J&K. The Academies will be
equipped with world class infrastructure and coaching facilities
with adequate scientific backup, focused on participation in world
sports tournaments, championships & Olympics. In order to lead
the High-Performance Centre, J&K Sports Council in coordination
with Sports Authority of India (SAI), invites applications from
eligible citizens of India for hiring offollowing manpower:

self-attested copies of all educational qualification, experience
and other testimonials as required to support the candidature
of the applicant must be sent to the Secretary, J&k Sports
Council, New Administrative Block, Bakshl Stadium, Srinagar
190009 by 31t July, 2021 till 5:30 PM. Only short-listed
candidates shall be called for the interview.
General Conditions;
1. Remuneration: Remuneration is to be fixed depending upon
caliber and experience, on mutual agreement
2. Tenure: The tenure based engagement will be for a period of
four years based on satisfactory performance, periodic
reviews, result oriented, etc. and at all times coterminous with
the Khelo India Scheme.
3. Tax Deduction_at Source: The Income Tax or any other tax
liable to be deducted, as per the prevailing rules will be
deducted at source before effecting the payment, for which the
Sports Council wilI issue TDS/Service Tax Certificates, as
applicable.
4. Other Allowances: No TA/DA shall be admissible for joining the
assignment or on its completion. No other facilities like DA,
Accommodation, Residential Phone, Conveyance Transpor
Personal Staff, Medical reimbursement, HRA and LTC etc
would be admissible.

Extension: Performance of the selected candidates
continuously reviewed, and their extension will be considered
on the basis of periodic review.
6. Leave: Selected candidates will be entitled for 30 days leave in
a calendar year on pro-rata basis. Thereafter, candidates shall
not draw any remuneration in case of his/her absence beyond
30 days in a year. Also unveiled leave in a calendar year will
lapse and will not be carried forward to the next calendar year.
7. Confidentiality:
a) Selected persons will not be allowed to publish a book or a
compilation of articles or participate in a radio broadcast or
contribute an article or anonymously or pseudonymous in
the name of any other person, if such book, article,
broadcast, uses any information that he/she may gather as
part of this assignment.
b) During the period of engagement with Khelo India Centre,
Employee would be subject to the provisions of the Indian
official Secret Act, 1923 and will not divulge any
information gathered by him/her during the period of
his/her engagement to anyone who is not authorized to
know
c) The Selected personnel at no instance can represent or give
opinion or advice to others in any matter, which is adverse
to the interest of the Government
8. Other Conditions
a) The applications received will be scrutinlzed/shortlsted on
the basis of relevant experlence and job descriptlon and the
eligible candidates wll be called for Intervlew at cost to the
applicant
b) In case the performance of Candidate is not found
satisfactory, his/her servlces wl be discontinued ater
giving one-month notice.
c)Without any prejudlce to the above condition, the
candidate will be terminated from his services with
immediate effect without any obligations, in case the
candidate is found gullty of vlolating any of the conditions
contained in the terms of
misconduct including employment or is guilty of any
absence, etc. negligence of duties, unauthorized
d) Decision of J&K Sports Council in all
matters

upon all candidates. No binding

e) J&K Sports Council reserves the right to cancel the
advertisement and/or the selection process at any stage
without assigning any reason.
t)The Administrative Secretary, Youth Services & Sports
Department, J&K Govt. Shall be the final authority in case of
any dispute.
9) The appointment will be purely on tenure basis and does
not confer any right to claim to permanent employment in
J&K Sports Council.

Sports Council shall be restricted to the jurisdiction
courts.
