🎭 Title: The Mad Scientists and the Talking Potion

Characters (7 total, you can adjust)

1. Professor Boom (main mad scientist, loud and funny)


2. Dr. Zing (smart but scared)
3. Dr. Blip (tiny and clumsy)
4. Robot Assistant Z9 (robot voice, mechanical)
5. Potion 1 (wakes up and talks)
6. Potion 2 (happy and silly)
7. Narrator (can be split if needed)

🎬 Scene: The Laboratory

(There’s a big table with bottles, tubes, and colored water. A big sign says: “BOOM LAB”)

🎙 Narrator (calm, clear voice):

In a big, messy lab, three mad scientists are working.


They mix, they spill, they laugh… and maybe… make a mistake!

🧪 Professor Boom (big voice, wide arms):

“Ha ha ha! I am Professor Boom! Today, we make… a TALKING POTION!”

(laughs loudly, makes crazy eyes)

🧪 Dr. Zing (shy, scared voice):

“A talking potion? Oh no… That’s… scary!”

(shakes hands, hides behind a book)

🧪 Dr. Blip (small, excited voice):

“Yes! Boom! Bang! Zip! I love potions!”

(jumps up and down, knocks over a cup)


🤖 Robot Z9 (robot voice, stiff movement):

“Warning. Warning. Potion is… unstable.”

(moves arms like a robot, blinking)

🧪 Professor Boom (winks, laughs):

“No problem! We add… red slime! And green juice!”

(pretends to pour ingredients, makes bubbling sound)

💥 Dr. Zing (nervous):

“Be careful! Be careful! It’s too hot!”

(backs away, eyes wide)

🧪 Dr. Blip (holds ears):

“It’s bubbling! It’s bubbling!”

(Suddenly, the potion bottle shakes. A big POP sound! Kids can clap or use a balloon to
pop.)

🧴 Potion 1 (slow voice, surprised):

“Helloooooo… I am… alive!”

(slowly rises up from behind the table like a puppet or student in costume)

😱 Dr. Zing:

“Ahhh! It talks!”

🧪 Professor Boom (proud, arms up):


“Yes! Yes! It works! I did it!”

🧴 Potion 2 (happy voice, dances):

“I want to sing! I want to dance!”

(wiggles, dances around the table)

🤖 Robot Z9:

“Error. Potions are… singing.”

🧴 Potion 1 and Potion 2 (together, cheerful):

“We are happy potions! Let’s dance!”

(they dance, other scientists look confused)

🧪 Dr. Blip (laughs):

“Maybe… we made a PARTY potion!”

🧪 Professor Boom:

“Noooo! Not a party! I wanted a monster!”

(pretends to cry dramatically)

🧴 Potion 1:

“We are not monsters! We are… your friends!”

🧪 Dr. Zing (smiles, relieved):

“That’s okay. I like friends.”


🎙 Narrator (smiling):

And so… the mad scientists made something new.


Not a monster. Not a robot. But… two silly, happy potions!

(everyone waves and bows)

🎭 Performance Notes:
For Expression:

 Professor Boom: Big gestures, loud voice, funny face.


 Dr. Zing: Scared face, quiet voice, shaking hands.
 Dr. Blip: Energetic, clumsy, excited.
 Robot Z9: Slow movements, “beep-boop” voice.
 Potions: Use scarves or hats to show they are potions. Speak slowly, wave arms like
jelly, dance.

For Beginners:

 Practice each line with gesture and tone.


 Use repetition and model each line for them.
 Translate if needed into L1 during practice, but keep performance in English.
 Teach key words with pictures: "Boom", "Potion", "Dance", "Friend", "Scared", etc.
