INTRODUCTION
I greet students and introduce them to the topics of today’s lesson.
WARM- UP
Presentation
Identify some of the personal things that you use in your everyday life. Can anyone of you write them on the black
board.
PRESENTATION
PRACTICE
Look at the picture in page 22 and read the title of the text. Ask student to predict the content of the lesson: Do
you know who the character in the picture is? Who play Iron man? How is Tony Stark related to the text? Who is
the Iron monger?
I am going to ask students to read the text aloud and identify the new words. I am going to explain the new
vocabulary to the students.
After reading the text students are going to answers some of the questions about it: ex: What is Tony's job? Where
is his job? Etc.
PRODUCTION
In order to reflect on the text that they read they are going to take 5 minutes and write as many things as they can
remember from it.
Lesson 2
First of all I am going to ask students about what are some of the things that they are able to do for example: I can
ride a bike, I can play basketball etc.
Then I am going to explain the lesson. First of all all students are going to listen and repeat chorally or
individually some of the abilities in the text book ex: ski, swim, fly a plane, dance, play the guitar etc.
Than students are going to learn how to conjugate verb can: I can, you can, he she can, we can you can, they can.
Later they will use the expression in the text to form some sentences using the verb "can" ex: I can run fast. I can
swim. I can dance. I can drive a car. I can play the guitar etc. Later they will use the expressions in the text to
form a dialogue just like that of exercise 3. Then students are going to learn how to buy things in a shop. They
will learn expressions like: I want to buy a souvenir. How much is that etc. Students are also going to read the
dialogue and 1 will explain the new words in the text.
In order to reflect on the text that they read they are going to take 5 minutes and write as many expression as they
can remember from it.
