1.0 INTRODUCTION
M/s. Rungta Mines Limited (RML) are operating a DRI based steel plant
at Chaliyama near Chaibasa, Jharkhand,
Jharkhand India.. Major facilities of the
plant consist of 8x100 tpd DR units along with WHRB based Power
Plants and a Steelmelt Shop (SMS-1)(SMS 1) having 4x15-ton
4x15 capacity
Induction Furnace and 1x3-strand,
1 6/11 m radius billet caster.
Construction of a Bar & Rod Mill is currently under progress.
RML now intend to set up another Steelmelt Shop (SMS-2)
(SMS and 2 x 350
tpd DR kilns along with WHRB based Power Plants to augment the
production of the Chaliyama
Chaliyam plant. SMS-2 2 will also have 4x15-ton

This Technical Specification is issued for Supply and Testing of Thirty

Shop-22 at Chaliyama Steel Plant, Chaibasa,, Jharkhand, India.

3.0 SUBMISSIONS
Bidder is to submit the following documents along with their price offer:
• GA Drawings and technical data sheets,, including performance
curves
• List of Exclusions
Bidders are also required to fill in the attached data-sheets
data with the
required information and submit accordingly with their offers.
4.0 SPARES
Bidder shall include the list of commissioning spares as well as
recommended spares list for Two
T (02) years.
5.0 PRICE
Bidder shall submit best delivery schedule and include additional
charges, if any, for supervision support and services during erection and
commissioning of the equipment.
Scope of supply must include, amongst others, the following :
• Pump
• Motor
• Diesel Engine (where applicable)
• Coupling
• Coupling Guard
• Base Frame

6.0 GUARANTEE
The bidder shall provide guarantee for smooth operation of all items
supplied by them for Twelve
welve (12) months from the date of successful
commissioning, handover and acceptance by the client.
