Rules of 7-a-side Football (Minors)

LOI 1: Playground.
The land must have the following dimensions: length 50 to 70 m, width 45 to 55 m.
The goals are 6x2.10 m (tolerance 2 m). They must be fixed to the ground, on the sideline of the field at
11 preferred (pivoting goals are recommended).
The penalty spot is located 9 m from the goal in front of the center of the bars, and a zone of offside
Game line marked at 13 meters from the game starting line. The central circle must measure 12 meters in diameter.

LOI 2: Balloon.
The ball used must measure between 63 and 66 centimeters in circumference, SIZE 4, and must be
properly inflated.

Rule 3: Number of players.


A team consists of 7 players (including the goalkeeper) and a MAXIMUM of three substitutes. It does not

LOI 5: Referee.
Identical to that of the 11-a-side game. The officiating can be carried out by any licensed individual, provided that they are knowledgeable.

LOI 7: Playing Time.


Maximum game duration for the Chick category: 50 minutes. There are no extensions.

LAW 8: Kick-off and Restart of Play.


Identical to that of the eleven-a-side game, but the opposing players must stand 6 meters away from the ball during the

LAW 9: The ball in play and out of play.


Identical to eleven-a-side football: the ball must completely cross the goal line or touchline.

Rule 12: Fouls and unsportsmanlike behavior.


Identical to eleven-a-side football, except for the following modifications:

1/All the free kicks are direct.

2/The referee, in the case of a serious foul, whether intentional or not, may award a free kick to the opposing team.

The offenses to be penalized are as follows:

LOI 16: Goal kick.


Identical to that of eleven-a-side football. The ball must be placed in front of the goal, at a distance of 9 meters from the
goal line, to the left or right of the penalty spot.

LOI 17: Corner kick


Identical to that of eleven-a-side football. The distance to be maintained by the players of the opposing team at the time
the strike is 6 meters instead of 9.15 meters.
