BREAKING BAD FAN FILM
ACT 1
SCENE 1
[WALTER, JESSE, SAUL]
(A black screen that fades into a door. We can hear someone
rambling about something, but we can’t make out what the
person behind is saying. The camera slowly gets closer, until the
door opens. SAUL lets 2 people in.)
SAUL: Right in the neck of time! We're gonna have to talk
business.
(The camera pans to WALTER and JESSE, who look at each
other before looking at SAUL.)
SAUL: My contact called me. He said there’s a guy who knows
a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a... eh, you get it.
(SAUL waits for a laugh, a cough, anything, but WALTER
stares at him with a stern face and JESSE looks at him with a
‘Are you serious?’ look.)
SAUL: Thing is, this guy pays top dollar for your product. And i
may have made an appointment with him.
(WALTER sighs, as he gets up and starts pacing around.)
WALTER: So... now, you’re some kind of middleman?
Organising things without telling us, because you thought it’d be
‘nice’.
SAUL: I never said that-
(SAUL gets cut off by WALTER, who keeps talking, raising his
voice a bit to let SAUL clear who is talking here.)
WALTER: You can’t do this, you’re going to make our product
now, huh?
JESSE: Jeez, old man, calm down. Atleast we know somebody
wants our shit, yo.
SAUL: Listen to the kid, Walt, just, give him a chance!
(WALTER sighs. He looks at SAUL.)
WALTER: Fine. Tell us where we can find your guy.
(SAUL nods, giving WALTER a piece of paper with an
address.)
SAUL: You’ll have to ask for a large combo deal for 19.67$.
SCENE 2
[JESSE, WALTER, SKYLER, FLYNN, SAUL]
(The camera starts off with JESSE, who is at the door of a
motel. The song ‘Dead Fingers Talking’ sounds on the whole
scene. He puts some coins in a vending machine, trying to buy
some snacks for the long way. The machine doesn’t work, and
JESSE shouts at it, before hitting it with his leg. Jesse falls to the
ground, his leg in pain.)
JESSE: Fuck!
(The camera changes to WALTER, who is at home. He says
goodbye to SKYLER as he leaves with his bags.)
WALTER: Don’t worry, Skyler, it’ll just be 2 weeks. You never
know if they’ll swap me permanently to Bloxburg High.
(SKYLER, holding HOLLY and FLYNN wave outside as
WALTER leaves with his car.)
(The last shot is from inside the RV. WALTER is driving, while
JESSE is on the back, organising the different products to cook
meth, while on the phone with SAUL.)
JESSE: Yo, you sure this is the address? I looked it up on the
map, it says here it’s a pizza place.
SAUL: Trust me, kid. You’ll make big bucks.
SCENE 3
[WALTER, JESSE, EMPLOYEE, TOM]
(WALTER and JESSE park. They enter the Pizza joint. They
walk up to the counter.)
EMPLOYEE: Hello and welcome to Pizza Planet! What’s going
to be your order?
WALTER: I’ll just take a large combo deal for 19,67$.
(EMPLOYEE nods. WALTER pays the man as they sit down.)
JESSE: So, this mysterious guy, is he just gonna come in like
that and sit there? That seems undiscreet, yo.
WALTER: I know, but this is our only shot at making big
money.
(TOM, the GM of the restaurant passes by. After a quarter of an
hour, both WALTER and JESSE leave.)
(TOM looks through the window. The camera makes the place
look like a 3-walled room. TOM goes out of frame, downstairs,
as the camera pans down with him, slowly revealing the huge
meth operation, completely covered in white sheets of plastic.)
