CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT
We are pleased to offer you a fixed-term appointment with our organization with effect from August
5, 2024 on the following terms and conditions.
1. Post: Mechanic
2. Department: Workshop
3. Duration: Two years; renewable thereafter subject to satisfactory performance
4. Medical Provision: This will be available at the Company Clinic
5. Break Period: One hour per working day
6. Salary (Monthly): Basic Salary - N 20,000.00
Housing Allowance - N 10,000.00
Transport Allowance - N 10,000.00
Others - N 10,000.00
TOTAL: - N 50,000.00
7. Working Hours: 8 a.m. to 5p.m Mondays to Fridays; Saturdays close by 3p.m.
(Approved additional hours worked will be compensated separately)
8. Vacation: Fourteen (14) calendar days for completed twelve months service.
9. Tax and Pension: These will be processed in line with existing relevant laws.
10. You may be required to work with any of the sister companies at any location within Nigeria
during the course of your engagement with the Company.
11. This appointment is strictly on contract terms and shall duly apply as spelt above. Other
conditions of your employment as they affect your duties and responsibilities shall be made
known to you by the Head of your Department from time to time.
12. This contract may be terminated by either party giving two weeks’ notice or payment in lieu.
However, immediate dismissal due to gross misconduct shall attract no notice whatsoever.
13. You will not (except in the normal course of the business of the company) publish any literature,
deliver any lecture or make communication to the Press regarding the company’s service(s) or
any other matter with which the company may be concerned, unless however, where necessary
permission has been previously granted by the company.
14. You are to discuss any grievance relating to your employment with the Head of Human
Resources for immediate resolution.
