2) BMC Letter O&M3324/L/SWD dated 26MAR25

Subject: Mono-Rail for Submersible Pump for Dharavi T Junction

Dear Mr. Bhaskara,

With regard to the reference 2 above dated 25MAR25 on this subject, please be
advised the following:

1. Purpose of the Mono-rail or Crane: To remove the submersible pumps from the
gate on the first floor to allow access to the crane brought in from the outside.
2. Therefore, if and when the crane brought from outside is accessible to the
submersible pumps, as the gate actuator lifted on the first floor, Mono-rail is
able to transport close to the battery limit of SWPS.
3. Necessity of longitudinal or transversal direction transport of submersible
pumps – only transversal side.
4. EOT: Required for both longitudinal or transverse transport
5. Mono-rail: Not required for both longitudinal or transverse transport.

Taking into account the purpose, and site conditions, as the longitudinal transport is
not required but it is also less helpful. Therefore, we have chosen to use Mono-rail for
transverse transport (Please refer to the attached photo), which will clarify BMC’s
queries on this subject.

Very Truly Yours,

Nick (Hyun-Jo) Kim,

Director, Overseas Marketing
