The project has been completed through research,

consultation with teachers and peers, and study of
both print and online sources. I have chosen the
lesson The Enemy by Pearl S. Buck from the
Flamingo textbook as a literary reference to
explore ethical dilemmas in the medical field. This
project explains the principles of medical ethics,
including empathy, patient care, and professional
responsibility, while analysing the moral choices
depicted in the story. Information was collected
from books, research articles, and credible online
sources to ensure accuracy and clarity. The
findings are presented in a structured manner,
highlighting the relevance of ethics in medical
