Toys and activities provide support and encouragement for children through play and allow
them to explore their imagination, develop skills, and problem-solving abilities. Toys and
activities also help with physical and cognitive development.
When children are offered a range of toys and activities, they can choose what interests
them most and they become engaged in play, which is both developmentally stimulating and
enjoyable. Activities e.g. storytelling, building, and sensory play allow children to gain
confidence, curiosity, and love for learning.
