Size Guide

Choose a size with about 15 cm of positive ease from your chest measurement.

Construction

Coco Raglan Pullover is worked top-down, starting from the neck, then yoke, sleeves, body, and

finally sleeves.

Start with a 40cm cable and switch to a longer cable as you increase the yoke.

- Short rows are worked using the German short row method. On “turn” rows, work a
double stitch.
- K (P) DS: When you encounter a double stitch from German short rows, knit (purl) both
loops together as one.

1
Cast On

With 7mm needles and 40cm (or 60cm) cable, CO 100 sts using long-tail cast on.

Place a start marker and begin knitting in the round as follows:

* [ ] denotes raglan stitches. In Row 1, [P1, K1, P1, K1, P1, K1, P1] is written out, but from Row 2 onward,
it is noted simply as [raglan]. Work sts according to pattern (knit the knit sts, purl the purl sts).

Row 1 (RS) : K11, PM, [P1, K1, P1, K1, P1, K1, P1], PM, K14, PM, [raglan], PM, K22, PM, [raglan],
PM, K14, PM, [raglan], PM, K11
Row 2 (RS) : [Work to marker, m1r, slip marker, [raglan], slip marker, m1l] × 4, K1, turn
Row 3 (WS) : [Work to marker, slip marker, [raglan], slip marker] × 4, P2, turn
Row 4 (RS) : [Work to marker, m1r, slip marker, [raglan], slip marker, m1l] × 4, knit to double st,
K DS, K3, turn
Row 5 (WS) : [Work to marker, slip marker, [raglan], slip marker] × 4, purl to double st, P DS, P3,
turn
Row 6~7 : Repeat Rows 4–5 once more.
Row 8 (RS) : [Work to marker, m1r, slip marker, [raglan], slip marker, m1l] × 4, knit to start
marker (knit the double sts together as knit sts).

Short rows are complete. Work 1 more row in pattern, resolving the double sts.

Stitch count : 15 sts (Left Front) / 7 sts (Raglan) / 22 sts (Left Sleeve) / 7 sts (Raglan) / 30 sts (Back) / 7 sts
(Raglan) / 22 sts (Right Sleeve) / 7 sts (Raglan) / 15 sts (Right Front)

So far all sizes are identical. Now continue as below to work yoke increases. Each increase row

adds 8 sts.

Row 1 : [Work to marker, m1r, slip marker, [raglan], slip marker, m1l] × 4, work to marker
Row 2 : Work sts as established

Repeat Rows 1–2 a total of 15 (15) 15 (14) 14 times.

Stitch count : 30 (30) 30 (29) 29 sts (Left Front) / 7 sts (Raglan) / 52 (52) 52 (50) 50 sts (Left Sleeve) / 7 sts
(Raglan) / 60 (60) 60 (58) 58 sts (Back) / 7 sts (Raglan) / 52 (52) 52 (50) 50 sts (Right Sleeve) / 7 sts (Raglan) / 30
(30) 30 (29) 29 sts (Right Front)

Now continue, increasing only at the body. Each increase row adds 4 sts.

2
Row 1 : [Work to marker, m1r, slip marker, [raglan], slip marker, work to marker, slip
marker, [raglan], slip marker, m1l] × 2, work to marker
Row 2 : Work sts as established

Repeat Rows 1–2 a total of 3 (4) 5 (6) 7 times.

For size (3) and (4), repeat Row 1 an additional (2) 4 times.

Stitch count : 33 (34) 35 (37) 40 sts (Left Front) / 7 sts (Raglan) / 52 (52) 52 (50) 50 sts (Left Sleeve) /
7 sts (Raglan) / 66 (68) 70 (74) 80 sts (Back) / 7 sts (Raglan) / 52 (52) 52 (50) 50 sts (Right Sleeve) / 7
sts (Raglan) / 33 (34) 35 (37) 40 sts (Right Front)

Body

Work as follows to separate sleeves from body:

(Work to marker, remove marker, K4, place 58 (58) 58 (56) 56 sts on hold, CO 0 (3) 4 (6) 6 sts

using backward loop cast on, K4, remove marker) × 2

You now have 148 (158) 164 (176) 188 sts.

Work in stockinette until total length from back neck = 48 (50) 50 (52) 52 cm.

Bind off knitwise. Take care not to bind off too tightly (you may use a larger needle).

Sleeves

Work both sleeves the same.

With 7mm needles and 60cm (or 40cm) cable, pick up sts starting at the underarm CO.

Pick up 0 (1) 2 (3) 3 sts, PM, pick up 0 (2) 2 (3) 3 sts, then knit across 58 (58) 58 (56) 56 sts on hold.

You now have 58 (61) 62 (62) 62 sts.

Work in the round in stockinette until sleeve length = 50 (50) 49 (49) 48 cm from underarm (or

desired length).

At the same time, work decrease rounds every 14 (12) 12 (13) 13 rounds:

Decrease Round: K1, ssk, knit to 3 sts before marker, k2tog, K1

Work decrease round a total of 9 (10) 10 (9) 9 times.

You now have 40 (41) 42 (44) 44 sts.
Bind off knitwise. Take care not to bind off too tightly (you may use a larger needle).

3
Neck Ribbing

With 6.5mm needles and 40cm cable, pick up sts along neckline starting at the back right

(between back and right shoulder), working to the left. Pick up 1 st in each CO edge.

The exact stitch count is not important, but adjust to an even number.

Work as follows:

Row 1~6 : (K1, P1) to end

Bind off knitwise. Take care not to bind off too tightly (you may use a larger needle).
