INSTALLATION GUIDE
Let’s get you set-up!
STEP 1: DELETE THIS FOLDER!
Before loading up my gameplay mod, you must delete the following folder to prevent
issues.
Follow these steps:
1. Open Windows Explorer and search: %appdata%
2. Select the ‘App Data’ folder.
3. Navigate to ‘Local’ > ‘Temp’.
4. Find the ‘EA SPORTS FC26’ folder and delete it.
💡 Note: If you can’t find the folder, it might be hidden. Enable hidden files in your PC
settings.
⚠️ Why is this important?
Gameplay files can get messy, especially when switching mods. Deleting this folder
helps prevent strange gameplay behavior and is a good habit to repeat every week or
so.
STEP 2: INSTALLATION
If you're new to FC modding, follow these steps.
Required Software
You’ll need one of these tools:
● FIFA Mod Manager (most common): Download
● Paulv2k's Frostbite Modding Tool: Download
Data Path Requirement
Make sure to enter the correct command in your EA Sports FC Properties in your EA
App:
● For FIFA Mod Manager: -dataPath FIFAModData
● For Frostbite Modding Tool: -dataPath ModData
File Types in Your Download
● .fifamod → For FIFA Mod Manager
● .fbmod → For Frostbite Modding Tool
STEP 3: USING FC LIVE EDITOR (IMPORTANT!)
⚠️ You MAY need to launch your game via the FC Live Editor.
Mods sometimes only work when launched through Aranaktu’s FC Live Editor. If
necessary, download it here:

How to Launch with FC Live Editor:
1. Unzip and install the Live Editor.
2. Open FIFA Mod Manager.
3. Click the arrow next to ‘Launch’ and select ‘Auto Launch Live Editor’.
4. Click ‘Launch’.
STEP 4: LOADING YOUR MODS
To load your mods into FIFA Mod Manager:
1. Import the correct mod file.
2. Click ‘Launch’.
⚠️ If the game doesn’t launch properly:
● Try again! The software can be unpredictable—sometimes multiple attempts are
needed.
● Test if your mods are active using the HUGE BALL TEST OPTION included in
your download. This makes the ball massive (see example).
STEP 5: MOD ORDER (EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!)
⚠️⚠️⚠️THIS HAS CHANGED FOR FC26 WITH MY MOD - PLEASE BE SURE TO
READ BELOW.
If you are using the Full Gameplay Package in FIFA Mod Manager, the mod order is
critical!
⚠️ READ CAREFULLY:
● Lower numbers = higher priority in FIFA Mod Manager.
● The standalone gameplay mod must sit ABOVE the options for them to take
effect.
Example:
💡 How to check if your mod order is correct:
1. Place the HUGE BALL TEST OPTION below the standalone mod (and all other
options).
2. If the ball becomes huge, your options are working correctly.
NOTE: My mod is compatible with ANY mod that doesn’t use gameplay files. The
order of my mod compared to other mods isn’t important as there shouldn’t be
any conflicts.
STEP 6: PLAY OFFLINE WHEN USING THE MOD
🚨 Always play offline to prevent issues.
How to Stay Offline:
● Set your EA app to OFFLINE mode before launching the game.
● OR, when prompted with the online connection screen, press X to stay offline.
Following these steps ensures you get the best possible experience with my
gameplay mod.
