SEQUENCE OF EVENTS

Next Wang ari’s brother goes to school. She wishes to go to


school, too. Wang ari’s parents arrange for fees and

from college and accepts a job teaching science at the
Uni versity of Nai robi.

After When Wang ari visits her villa ge, she sees the trees have

that companies. Many Kenyan families are now hungry.

Finally Wang ari takes action! She tells her countrywoman to


plant trees. They plant rows of trees, starting the Green
Belt Movement. In all, 30 million trees are planted!
Wang ari wins the Nobel Peace Pri ze!
