m : mediant
f (fe) : subdominant and its sharp
s (se) : dominant and its sharp
l (to) : submediant and its sharp
t : leading note
d : tonic (one octave higher or lower, as indicated by superscript or subscript)

Octave Indication
Superscript: Indicates the note is in the upper octave e.g., d1
Subscript: Indicates the note is in the lower octave e.g., d1
