General Guidelines
1. Standee Placement and Size:

a. Standard standee size: 3x6 feet (height x width).

b. Standees should only be placed in the designated corridor of the respective department.

c. Placement of campaign material in non-designated areas is strictly prohibited.

2. Design Template:

a. Allcampaign materials must follow the approved design template provided by the university.

b. Any modifications to the design are notallowed unless explicitly permitted by the election
committee.
3. Election Symbol:

a. Candidates must choose from the approved list of election symbols provided by the university.

b. No personal or unauthorized symbols will be allowed.

Campaign Restrictions
1. Rallies and Gatherings:
a. No rallies are allowed in front of the main university gate or any area that causes disruption to
normal university activities.

b. No use of dhols, loudspeakers, or other loud instruments is allowed within university premises
during the campaign.
2. Slogans and Campaign Behavior:

a. Derogatoryslogans, personal attacks, or offensive language are strictly prohibited.

b. The campaign must be free of any form of political or religious discrimination or influence.

c. All candidates and their supporters are required to display sportsmanship during the campaign
and election process.

3. Conduct Toward Other Candidates:

a. No hooting, negative comments, or public insults toward other candidates will be tolerated.

b. Candidates are expected to behave in a professional and respectful manner toward their
opponents.
Campaign Spirit
1. The campaign and election process must encourage fair competition and uphold the spirit of
sportsmanship.

2. Candidates and their teams are encouraged to maintain a positive atmosphere throughout the
election period.

Consequences for Non-Compliance


1. Any violation of the above SOPs may result in disqualification from the election.
2. Disciplinary actions, such as fines or suspension, may also be imposed depending on the
