INTRODUCTION
Environmental pollution has been a problem that humanity has
had since its beginnings; perhaps to a lesser extent since prehistory,
but thanks to human intelligence and curiosity has led to the
emergence of technology and science, as tools to facilitate
daily life in a surprising way and with it, the harm to the environment
The environmental impacts have been very significant.
This has led humanity to forget something fundamental: And the
preservation of our planet?
In recent years, scientific and technological advancement has reached levels
never imagined, bringing various benefits to many
senses, however, pollution has equally grown alongside
environmental at critical levels, so if action is not taken quickly and effectively,
we will have further aggravated the current condition of the planet.
That is why various projects are being created all over the world that
they touch on different themes such as recycling or water conservation, in order to
preserve them and generate an environmental awareness about care
of our planet.
In this document, you will be able to observe some projects towards the
environmental awareness.

1. PROJECT:
According to Brunas (2006:46), a project is a set of actions that are
They plan in order to achieve a previously established goal, for which
a certain amount of resources is available. It has a
structure divided into phases that ultimately allow for the goal or
established objective.
The first phase is Planning. This stage is characterized by
to be a period in which they establish the objectives to follow and the way
on how the actions will be carried out to achieve them. In
in case several people participate in the project, it is in this
stage in which the roles of each one must be established, as well as
also everything related to the resources available
and the way in which these will be used. Resources behave
as an essential part of a project and they are not only included in them
material resources, but it is also necessary to consider the
human resources available, the costs, and the time,
among others, in this way, the proper organization of all the
resources greatly favor the success or failure of a
determined project.
4
The second phase, the Execution phase, is the one in which the...
actions and planned tasks, which represent the execution itself
of the project. It refers to the execution of everything that is
organized during the preliminary planning phase.
Finally, the Delivery or Implementation phase, which must be
to be completed within the time stipulated in the planning phase. From
in this way, in certain cases it will be finalized with the delivery of the work to
a specific client or the implementation of a system that
has developed, responding to the previously established conditions
agreed.
In addition to all the mentioned phases, in order to take down the path of
success to a project, whoever is in charge could implement some
control system, that is, some method with which throughout all
the stages can monitor the progress of the project according to it
planned, and thus be able to make the necessary modifications on time
necessary to achieve the best results and the achievement of the objectives.
According to Young (1999:22), a project is essentially a set of
interrelated activities, with a defined start and end
use limited resources to achieve a desired goal.
The two basic elements included in this definition are: the
activities and resources:
5
THE ACTIVITIES are the tasks that must be carried out to achieve
in conjunction with a predetermined end (desired objective); for example:
collect information; perform diagnostics; create a design
global of a procedure, to program, to write manuals of
procedure, etc
A fundamental aspect of any project is the order in which it is
They carry out the activities. And to determine the logical sequence of the
activities must establish the method, the time, and the cost of each
operation.
RESOURCES are the elements used to be able to carry out the
execution of each of the tasks; such as: hardware,
system software (operating systems), application programs,
storage disks, energy, services, capital investments,
personal, information, money and time.
So: The primary purpose of developing a project must be to produce
a calendar program in which resources, always limited, are
assign each of the activities in an economically optimal way.
A project arises in response to a need, in accordance with the vision
from the organization, although it may deviate based on interest.
The project concludes when the desired result is achieved, and it can be
to say that it collapses when the initial need disappears, or they are exhausted
available resources.

2. ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS:
It is defined as the knowledge that human beings have of themselves and
from its environment; the word 'environment or environmental' refers to the surroundings, or
total sum of that which surrounds us, affects us, and conditions us, especially
the circumstances in the lives of people or society as a whole.
The environment encompasses the sum of natural and social values.
existing cultures in a specific place or moment that influence
humanity, as well as in the generations to come. That is to say, it is not about
not only of the space in which life develops, but it also encompasses
living beings, objects, water, soil, air and the relationships between them, as well as
intangible elements such as culture.
Thus, environmental awareness means knowing our environment.
to take care of it so that our children can also enjoy it. The
the background of environmental awareness dates back to ancient times
inhabitants of these lands, who considered it very important the
care of nature.
That awareness has unfortunately been poorly transmitted so far.
our days, causing the current lifestyle and the deficit of
environmentally responsible actions negatively impact the
natural resources of this country, which seemed endless and
currently are in danger, also at risk, the
natural systems that host them.
7
In the coming years, environmental issues will be a topic of
national security; currently the basic needs for the population
they are not covered and in the future, an equitable distribution of the
natural resources will be essential to ensure stability
national.
Currently, natural phenomena caused by the deterioration of the
ecosystems such as floods and droughts cause food shortages,
loss of the assets of thousands of families and a consequent instability
social, which makes it even more difficult to promote environmental awareness, as
that people in their desperation to satisfy their needs
immediate, tends to exhaust resources, preventing them from regenerating
and therefore the objectives of sustainable development are not met.
3. Environmental Awareness Project:
According to Bautista (2007: 45), the environmental awareness project is a
planning that aims primarily to educate, achieve a
ecological behavior that involves respect for others, the
solidarity and commitment to everything that surrounds us. It is necessary
raising awareness among people to achieve a change in values that
they imply a change of attitude towards the environment.
Education and information are tools we have to
transmit human values that generate understanding and unity in order to
protect our resources and ensure quality of life. These respond to
8
the need to provide solutions to environmental problems they face
today in our societies.
3.1 Objectives of an Environmental Project:
-To know in detail the issues raised in relation
the little care for the environment, taking into account the
exogenous and endogenous agents of the school.
Create in the school community a culture of care for
environment, through sustained and multisectoral work.
Develop practical skills using a methodology that
facilitate the active participation of everyone and whose degree of
involvement is meaningful.
-Design and apply different strategies, such as; conferences,
brochures, dissemination of information using various media such as
bulletin boards, posters, etc. that lead to compliance with
objective and expectations outlined.
Understand the importance of carrying out activities responsibly and
in harmony with the environment, through its written commitments and
exposed.

2. ANALYSIS OF ENVIRONMENTAL NEEDS:
According to the Institution's P.E.I., to the SWOT, and to the same
observation that we establish in daily work with the students,
we found that some environmental needs are as follows.
Inadequate personal and environmental hygiene habits
They throw the waste on the floor.
Indifference towards environmental issues
13
Water waste in bathroom faucets and toilets.
Ignorance of harmful effects caused by some.
daily use materials.
3. PRESENTATION:
Our planet is going through a series of changes that
are affecting and transforming the lifestyles we have
used to state.
An important part of the changes that are happening; is
they are attributed to environmental problems generated especially by the being
human issues such as: climate change, scarcity, and pollution
of water; the loss of biodiversity, improvement in the quality of
air and soil, accumulation of solid waste, among others.
Each of these problems is leading our planet to
exceed their support limits to continue providing
healthily the goods and services necessary to live in a way
adequate and grow sustainably.
Since the beginning of life, human beings have needed to transform the
nature to satisfy their needs. In this way, the
The situation and characteristics of the environment are linked to the evolution of
human being; therefore, the environmental problem is related
with the process of the development of civilization. For this reason the
14
complexity of environmental issues as well as their treatment,
They demand actions that involve all of society.
Due to the above and according to the needs analysis that
we found, it is urgent to adopt measures that address the problems
environmental, the same ones that should start from the improvement of our
human relationship with the environment and a respectful, cultured, and efficient use
of natural resources, that this Project, put in
consideration for the educational institution to contribute to improvement of the
attitudes, behaviors in sustainable development and
