IRR 1.1 The Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) of Ramon Magsaysay
Memorial Colleges – General Santos City (RMMC-GSC) remains steadfast in its
commitment to fostering academic excellence, professional development, and
holistic growth among its members. In line with its mission to create meaningful
and engaging experiences for aspiring accountants, JPIA RMMC proudly
presents JPIA Day 2025, an annual celebration dedicated to strengthening
camaraderie, honing intellectual skills, and showcasing the diverse talents of

IRR 1.2 JPIA Day serves as a platform for students to engage in a series of stimulating
academic and non-academic events, reinforcing the importance of both technical
proficiency and creative expression. The Academic League will feature a highly
competitive team-based quiz bowl, where participants will be challenged on their
knowledge of accounting principles, problem-solving abilities, and analytical
thinking. This event not only aims to assess their technical expertise but also
enhances their ability to think critically under pressure—an essential skill for future
accounting professionals.

IRR 8.0 VIOLATION AND SANCTION GUIDELINES

IRR 8.1 All participants are expected to uphold integrity, sportsmanship, and respect
throughout JPIA Day 2025. Any violation of the event’s rules, regulations, or
ethical conduct will result in sanctions based on the severity of the offense.
Penalties may range from warnings and point deductions to disqualification
from specific events or the entire competition. Additionally, any breach of
sections without specified deductions will automatically result in a 3-point
deduction.

IRR 8.2 Minor offenses include, but are not limited to: failure to follow dress code,
tardiness or absence in mandatory events (e.g., Dry Run), failure to use
designated virtual backgrounds or event materials, and minor disruptions
affecting the program’s flow. The sanction for minor violations includes an
official warning and/or a point deduction of 5-10 points.

IRR 8.3 Major violations include acts such as unsportsmanlike conduct, tampering
with scores or event materials, unauthorized use of props or digital
enhancements for unfair advantage, and plagiarism or unauthorized
reproduction of competition materials. Sanctions for major violations involve
immediate disqualification from the specific event and a point deduction of
20-50 points.
IRR 8.4 Grave offenses include cheating, intentional disruption of the competition
(e.g., sabotaging another team’s performance), and any form of
harassment, discrimination, or misconduct toward participants, organizers, or
attendees. Any team committing a grave violation will face immediate
disqualification from the entire competition and may be banned from future
JPIA events.
IRR 8.5 Violations must be immediately reported to the organizing committee for proper
investigation. Team leaders and team members are allowed to report any

38
violations committed by other teams. The JPIA officers will thoroughly
investigate the complaint, review evidence, and allow all involved parties to
present their side before making a final decision. The ruling of the organizing
committee is final and irrevocable. Additionally, any breach of rules that do not
specify a corresponding deduction will automatically result in a 3-point
deduction.
