Basic user manual

Basic manual Artcut / Artgrave commands, the icons and techniques to get started using Artcut / Artgrave. You
You should understand the basics first, and then continue to familiarize yourself with the program.

Title bar
Show the name of the file and program that is currently working.
Menu bar
Click on a menu category to access a list of commands.
Icon bar
Show the icons to access most of the / Artgrave Artcut commands. Click and hold the mouse over the
icon, the description will be displayed.

Use as a reference for positioning.

Object selection method:


1, drag a frame to select:

Log into the software

File Menu

The file menu commands are shown below:

Restart:
To start a new file.
New
To start a new design. Artcut / Artgrave software support for opening more than one design at a time.
Open
To open an existing AC6 file. You can open a file from the current directory (default: c:\artcut6), or from another directory.
Double click on a file, Artcut will select the file and open it.
Close
To close the current presentation. You are asked to save the design if any changes have been made since the last time or if not, already.

Save
To save the current presentation. If you are saving a file for the first time, the save dialog box will appear in the
screen. Check the Save As command for more information.
Save as
The selection and name of the guide to save the current configuration as an AC6 file.
Import
To load a file from another program.

Click on 'Select Twain_32 source' from the menu files, a two source dialog box appears.

Edit node
Select the first object. When you choose the Edit node command, the selected object will be displayed in node edit state.
Redraw
Redesign the current layout.
Measurement
Press and hold the mouse, drag to show the distance from the starting point to the current point.
Delete
Delete the selected objects or texts.
Remove Tool path
It is a symbol of artgrave software. Remove the tool's trajectory from the selected objects.
Cut
Use the Cut command to remove the selection group of objects and the place or group of selection objects in the
Clipboard.
Copy

Use the Copy command or click the icon to place the selected objects group in the Clipboard.
To stick

Use the Paste command or click the icon to get the last group or an object that was cut or copied to
clipboard in its current presentation or a new one. You can copy or cut a group from a design and use the command
Grab to place the group as many times as necessary.

Duplicate
Use this command to create horizontal and vertical copies at the same time. You can set the number of horizontal copies.

View Menu

The available commands in the View menu are related to the display or visualization of information in a design. Also
you can click on the icon to select a common command viewpoint that is used. The View menu lists
commands below:

Show full

Normally, input texts or graphics are displayed as level text. After selecting Show filled, the
text and the graphs are shown below:

Toolbars Option
Show a dialog box to display all types of icons / pubs. Check √ to select the type of bar
icons that you want to be displayed in the window.

Show and hide the status bar.

To choose one of the text commands, select the command from the text menu, or click on the icon. When selecting

Rectangle
Use this command to draw a rectangle in the workspace. Press and hold the left mouse button,

Use this command to draw an oval in the workspace. Press and hold the left mouse button,
move the mouse to draw an oval. If you press the Shift key on the keyboard at the same time, you can achieve a

Use this command to draw an arc in the workspace. Press and hold the left mouse button,
move the mouse to draw an arc.
Polygon
Use this command to draw a polygon in the workspace. Press and hold the left mouse button,
move the mouse to draw a polygon.
Concentric border

Use this command to draw useful another graph in the shape of a star, rounded rectangle, curve, fan, etc.
Draw Circle Frame
Use this command, the dialog will be displayed as:

Click on the checkbox of the non-rotated ellipse to remove the √, then click on Accept.
