PRESENTATION

The fifth-grade elementary students will present the play on this occasion.
titled 'A MACHO HOME', where we will expose the problem of Machismo that
affects many homes in our present, where boys and girls must be educated in
a context of equality, respecting their rights and taking on obligations regardless
gender.

Miss Alva: Sonia, it seems that at your house they still have very outdated ideas about the role of the
woman. Now everyone understands that women and men are equal and the responsibilities

Scenario: School

Narrator: Miss Alva is alone when Stefano and Laura arrive.


Miss Alva: Good morning, it's nice to see you.

Laura: Good morning miss. We are worried about your summons.

Miss Alva: Don't worry, we are just calling the parents to talk to them.
because we notice some macho attitudes in children and these are attitudes that are acquired in
the home.

Stefano: What do you mean miss?

Miss Alva: Sometimes parents make children think they are the kings of the house and that the
women are there to serve them and they are there to command. On the contrary, they must be taught that the
women and men are equal and that neither is above the other.
Stefano: But I think that the man is the one who is in charge in the house.

D Miss Alva: It is not like that, the man must respect the woman and give her place, and the woman must

TEACHING

With this play, we wanted to convey that machismo is a form of


behavior that is learned at home, and affects both men and women that
they misunderstand that the woman is here to serve the man.

That is why we must all do our best to avoid these macho attitudes at home and thus
to educate children in the ideal that both women and men are equal in
regarding their rights and obligations.
