1
Navigating the Home Page

1. Click here to enter the Task screen. The Task screen will act similarly to the Contact
Manager screen in Campus Nexus. The Task screen is where you will go to find your
tasks or activities for the day, whether that be phone calls, interviews, emails, or texts.
2. Click here to open the Student screen. The Student screen will act similarly to the
Student Search window in Campus Nexus (found by clicking the binoculars icon in CN).
The Student screen is where you will go to look up a Student by name or ID number.
3. Click here to open the Report screen. The Report screen will act similarly to the Report
drop-down menu in CN. The Report screen is where you will go to create groups and
run various types of reports.
4. Click here to open and manage different groups. This will act similarly to the Student
Groups window in CN (found by clicking the three people icon in CN).
5. This icon in the top left corner will take you back to this home page from whatever page
you are on within Anthology.
6. I suggest bookmarking this URL, [Link] , using the
star icon indicated by the green arrow. This way when you login in the morning you’ll
have quick access to Anthology.

2
Sending Texts

1. Ensure that this box reads “Text Communication”

2. Use the calendar icon to set the date you’d like the text to send. Ise the clock icon to set the
time you’d like the text to send on that day. If you want the text to send immediately set the
date to the current date (should already be set to the current date by default) and leave the
time blank.
3. Type your message in this box.
4. Click save and close at the top of the page just like you would when creating any other task.

3
Navigating the Student Search Screen

1. Check the box labeled “Student Number” and use the “Number” box below to search a
student by ID number. You should always have this Student Search screen open so you
can search a student quickly when a CARS call comes in.
2. This screen can also be sorted and filtered similarly to the task list screen. The main use
for this that I have found thus far is checking for any students still in New Inquiry status
at the end of the day.
3. Similarly to working in the Task Screen, by clicking on a student’s name you can open
the Student’s Profile.

4
Navigating a Student Profile

1. Click here to open or close this personal information tab. Below this tab are similar tabs
for contact information, recruitment information, and notes. You can access these by
scrolling down or by collapsing the personal information tab.
2. On the right side of the screen are several familiar drop-down menus. We will most
often use the Contact Manager for viewing previous tasks or uploading documents.
Academic Records will also be useful for printing student schedules.
3. Click on the student’s name from anywhere in the student profile to come back to this
home page for the student profile.

5
Viewing Recruitment Information

1. From the previous screen scroll down and click this arrow next to recruitment
information.
2. Use this tool as an alternative way to change a student’s status. It’s much easier to
change status when closing a task, however, this is an alternative you can use when not
closing tasks.
3. Here displays the date and time that the inquiry came in.
4. Look here to see what program this student is interested in.

6
Managing Tasks in a Student Profile

1. From the student profile click this button labeled “Tasks” to open this page. On this
page you will be able to look at notes from previous tasks for this student and schedule
new tasks.
2. Click here to create a new task for this student.
3. Click here to wrap or unwrap the text in the columns. By unwrapping the text, you can
see the whole note for a given task rather than an abridged segment of that note.

7
Printing Student Schedules

1. Click the arrow next to “Academic Records” to open the drop-down menu for academic
records.
2. Click the tile labeled “Student Courses” which will open the screen above.
3. Click “Print Schedule” and select the first option, “Do not add Book Info.”

8
Printing Student Schedules cont.

1. Click the Printer Icon to open this additional printing window.

2. Ensure that this box is set to “8.5’ X 11’”.
3. Click the “Print” Button which should open your computer’s built-in printing software.
4. *Note* Currently permissions for Printing schedules are not available to everyone. If
you need a schedule printed, please email me the student’s name and ID number and I
will print the schedule for you.
