1 Installation/starting
Multiscan
System installation
1. Connect the Scanform Nets to the PC with a serial cable for each remote.
2. Connect each bar code reader associated to a Scanform Net with a serial cable for each bar
code reader
3. Connect the Scanform Nets to the power electrical outlet with a power supply cable.
4. Install the program Multiscan on your PC (See paragraph Installation of Multiscan program below).
5. Configure the serial port of the Scanform Nets installed (See paragraph Configuring the Serial
Port of a Scanform Net below).
6. Configure the serial port of each bar code reader associated to a Scanform Net (See
paragraph Configuring the Serial Port of a Bar code reader below).
Installation of Multiscan program
Installation of the Multiscan program. If you are installing a new version we advise you to
uninstall the previous version. This is accomplished by deleting the folder from Windows
explorer (see paragraph Uninstalling the Multiscan below).
1. From the windows Start bar, click Settings then Control Panel.
The Control Panel window appears on the screen.
2. Double-click on Add/Remove Programs .
The Add/Remove Programs Properties window appears on the screen.
3. Insert the installation disk of Multiscan program in your CD ROM reader.
4. Click Install….
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
When installation is completed, the icon of Multiscan appears in program group indicated
during installation.
6. Configure the starting parameters after installation (See Configuring the Multiscan below).
Uninstalling the Multiscan
Allows you to delete properly your program in the case you have to install a new version
of the Multiscan for instance. You must have install the uninstallation program previously
delivered with the Multiscan.
1. Start the Multiscan uninstall program.
The Add/Remove Programs Properties window appears on the screen.
2. Select Multiscan in the left window.
3. Click Add/Remove….
A confirmation message for removing appears on the screen.
4. Click Yes.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Your system uninstalls the Multiscan program.

Switching-on components
1. Start the Scanform Nets by positioning the main switch, located right rear side, to the I
position.
2. Start the PC, and if necessary the modem (if it is not inside the PC), by positioning the main
switch of central unit and screen to the I position.
3. If necessary, start the printer, by positioning the main switch to the I position.
Starting the program Multiscan
1. From the Windows Start bar, click Programs.
2. Click Multiscan.
Configuring the Multiscan
Allows you to configure the Multiscan in order to work correctly.
1. Configure the location of the databases (see paragraph Configuring the database location
below).
2. Configure the serial port of the Scanform Nets installed (see paragraph Configuring the serial
port of a Scanform Net below).
3. Configure the serial port of each bar code reader associated to a Scanform Net (see
paragraph Configuring the serial port of a bar code reader below).
Configuring the database location
Allows you to configure in which directory the Language, Import and Jobs databases of
your Multiscan program will be stored.
1. Click Parameters menu.
The Password window appears on the screen.
2. Enter your password.
Briot provides it.
3. Click OK.
4. Click General Parameters tab.
5. Click , located at right of the base field to be configure:
ü Language path
ü Import path
ü Jobs path
The Opening window appears on the screen.
6. Select the directory in which you wish to configure your base, in the Search field.
7. Click Open.

8. Go to step 5 until you configure all the necessary bases.
9. Click OK.
The message Save the changes? reads on the screen.
10. Click Yes.
Your Multiscan program is starting again.
Configuring the Serial Port of a Scanform Net
Allows you to configure the serial port of the Scanform Net.
1. Click Parameters menu.
The Password window appears on the screen.
2. Enter your password.
Briot provides it.
3. Click OK.
4. Click ScanForm Nets Management tab.
5. Select the serial port of the Scanform in Serial port (com) zone in Scanform Net window.
6. Click OK.
The message Save the changes? reads on the screen.
7. Click Yes.
Your Multiscan program is starting again.
Configuring the Serial Port of a Bar Code Reader
Allows you to configure the serial port of the Scanform Net.
1. Click Parameters menu.
The Password window appears on the screen.
2. Enter your password.
Briot provides it.
3. Click OK.
4. Click ScanForm Nets Management tab.
5. Select the serial port of the bar code reader in Serial port (com) zone in Bar Code Reader
window.
6. Click OK.
The message Save the changes? reads on the screen.
7. Click Yes.
Your Multiscan program is starting again.
Exiting the program Multiscan
To quit Multiscan, select Quit All from the File menu.

Getting assistance while working
Allows you to obtain help as you usually do with other applications of Windows.
1. Select Help from Help menu.
The Help rubric: Multiscan window appears on the screen.
2. Select the necessary help rubric.
3. Click Display.
The selected rubric displays:
ü Popup
ü Jumps.
OR
1. Point directly on window area in which you wish to get help and press F1.
The help rubric reads on the screen.
Printing a Help rubric
Allows you to print a specific function of Multiscan.
1. Select Help from Help menu.
The Help rubric: Multiscan window appears on the screen.
2. Click Help rubric.
3. Select the rubric to print.
4. Click Print.
The Printing window appears on the screen.
5. Select printing parameters.
6. Click OK.

About Multiscan Functions
The main functions of the application are as follows:
• Drive simultaneously from 1 to 8 Scanform Nets
• Create jobs
• Import customer’s data from the Import database
• Send the scanned shape to the BOA database.
Protection of the setting
Password protection of your Multiscan software. Password is used each time you wish to
access to Parameters menu of the program.

Multiscan
Scanning a shape
Scanning a shape is tracing a frame, demonstration lens, or pattern.
1. Make sure the Scanform Net is switched on («ON» will appear on the Scanner).
2. Insert a frame in the Scanform Net.
3. Start the Multiscan application installed on your dedicated PC.
4. Select Start Scanform Application from File menu.
A window for each Scanform Net connected to the PC appears on the screen.
5. In the Multiscan window corresponding to the Scanform Net to use, import the job data or
enter manually its parameters, detailed as follows.
ü General Information Parameters (See paragraph General Information Parameters below)
ü Information Parameters of Multiscan (See paragraph Information Parameters below).
6. Configure the scanning either from the Multiscan (See paragraph General Information
Parameters below) or from function keys of the Scanform Net (See paragraph Initiator Mode
below), if this one is configured in Initiator mode.
7. Click Scan or press the key of the Scanform Net to use.
When the frame is scanned, the shape appears on the screen.
ü If you configured your Scanform Net in order to transfer directly information of the scanned
shape to the database of the BOA, these information are directly sent. You can go to
another job.
ü Otherwise, press Send.
The message Job transferred to BOA reads at the bottom of the screen.

Multiscan
Importing Job Data
Allows you to import customer data entered in another software to avoid data re-enter
then minimising error risks and also saving time.
1. Move closer the bar code reader over the bar code label of the job or enter manually the job
number in zone Container of the window of the Scanform Net concerned.
The job data reads on the screen.
Viewing the job list
Jobs in memory can be viewed according to the criteria of job and by the configuration of the
jobs.
1. Click Jobs List menu.
The Jobs List window appears on the screen.
2. Select the time period on which you wish to perform the search (See paragraph Searching for
jobs in a selected period below).
The number of the selected jobs appears in the Selected zone.
3. Select the options on which you wish to perform the search in the Settings zone.
The job list window appears on the screen according to your selection.
4. View the job list.
5. Click Close.
Viewing the job status
Allows you to know the job status.
1. Click Jobs List menu.
The Jobs List window appears on the screen.
2. Select the time period on which you wish to perform the search (See paragraph Searching for
jobs in a selected period below).
The number of the selected jobs appears in the Selected zone.
3. Select the options on which you wish to perform the search in the Settings zone.
The job list window appears on the screen according to your selection.
4. View the desired job status in the column Status search (See paragraph Job Status below)
located at the right side of the list.
5. Click Close.
Job status
Not transferred Job not transferred yet to the laboratory
Waiting Waiting job to be sent to the laboratory
Transferred Job transferred to the laboratory
Error Job displaying an error during the transmission to the laboratory
Differed Job to be sent when the user will modify its state.

Modifying the job status
Allows you to modify the sending time of a job.
Example: You can force a differed job to be sent immediately by clicking on Forced
button.
1. Click Jobs List menu.
The Jobs List window appears on the screen.
2. Select the time period on which you wish to perform the search (See paragraph Searching for
jobs in a selected period below).
The number of the selected jobs appears in the Selected zone.
3. Select the options on which you wish to perform the search in the Settings zone.
The job list window appears on the screen according to your selection.
4. Click on the job you wish to modify the time.
5. Select the state type:
ü Click Send to send your job in normal mode.
ü Click Forced to send your job in forced mode.
ü Click Differed to send your job in differed mode.
6. Click Close.
Viewing the job errors
When job errors are reported, you check to see the possible transmission errors of a job
to the laboratory.
1. Click Jobs List menu.
The Jobs List window appears on the screen.
2. Select the time period on which you wish to perform the search (See paragraph Searching for
jobs in a selected period below).
The number of the selected jobs appears in the Selected zone.
3. Select the options on which you wish to perform the search in the Settings zone.
The job list window appears on the screen according to your selection.
4. Click on left of the job you wish to view the errors.
5. Click Error.
The list of possible error of transmission attempt appears on the screen or the message No
error reads on the screen.
6. Click OK.
7. Click Close.

Multiscan
Deleting a job
Allows you to delete a job from the job list of the database.
1. Click Jobs List menu.
The Jobs List window appears on the screen.
2. Select the time period on which you wish to perform the search (See paragraph Searching for
jobs in a selected period below).
The number of the selected jobs appears in the Selected zone.
3. Select the options on which you wish to perform the search in the Settings zone.
The job list window appears on the screen according to your selection.
4. Select the job(s) to be deleted by clicking at left of the list.
5. Click Delete.
The message Are you sure you want to delete this record? reads on the screen.
6. Click Yes.
The selected job(s) is (are) deleted from the base.
7. Click Close.
Viewing the list of jobs not transferred
Allows you to view the list of the jobs to be sent to the laboratory.
1. Click Jobs List menu.
The Jobs List window appears on the screen.
2. View the jobs not transferred in column Status located at the right of the list.
3. Click Close.
Deleting a job not transferred
Allows you to delete a job to be sent.
1. Click Jobs List menu.
The Jobs List window appears on the screen.
2. Click on left of the job list to be deleted.
3. Click Delete.
The message Are you sure you want to delete this record? reads on the screen.
4. Click Yes.
5. Click Close.

Printing the job list
Allows you to print the job list according to your selection criteria.
Example: You can print all the transferred jobs during the ten last days.
1. Click Jobs List menu.
The Jobs List window appears on the screen.
2. Select the time period on which you wish to perform the search (See paragraph Searching for
jobs in a selected period below).
The number of the selected jobs appears in the Selected zone.
3. Select the options on which you wish to perform the search in the Settings zone.
The job list window appears on the screen according to your selection.
4. Click Print.
The Print window appears on the screen.
5. Select the printing parameters.
6. Select the printing format Listing.
7. Click OK.
The list of selected jobs is printing in listing form.
8. Click Close.
Printing the job detail
Allows you to print the job detail in sheet form.
1. Click Jobs List menu.
The Jobs List window appears on the screen.
2. Select the time period on which you wish to perform the search (See paragraph Searching for
jobs in a selected period below).
The number of the selected jobs appears in the Selected zone.
3. Select the options on which you wish to perform the search in the Settings zone.
The job list window appears on the screen according to your selection.
4. Select the job to be printed.
5. Click Print.
The Print window appears on the screen.
6. Select the printing format Details.
7. Click OK.
The selected job is printing in sheet form with all the identification parameters.
8. Click Close.

Searching for jobs in a selected period
Allows you to select the period on which you wish to perform your search on jobs already
created.
1. Click , located at left of Date range zone.
The Calendar window appears on the screen.
2. Select the start date of the period on which you wish to begin the search.
3. Click OK.
4. Click , located at right of Date range zone.
The Calendar window appears on the screen.
5. Select the finish date of the period on which you wish to begin the search.
6. Click OK.
OR
1. Click , located at center of Date range zone.
The Nb days between Date min and Date max window appears on the screen.
2. Click or to select the interval between start and finish dates of the research.
3. Click OK.

Creating a laboratory
How to set up transmission of the jobs to a laboratory.
How to set up transmission of jobs to a new laboratory.
1. Select Create Laboratory from the Laboratory menu.
The Laboratories Setting window appears on the screen.
2. Click Create laboratory tab.
The system gives the name of the laboratory.
3. If necessary, configure the default laboratory (See paragraph Configuring default laboratory
below).
4. Select the server type:
ü Briot Server
ü Another Server: Server able to receive a text file following the zmodem protocol.
5. Select the geographic location of the server:
ü Local: Network
ü Distant: Modem
6. If you selected Local Server, click located at right of the Server path field to specify the
server path.
The Opening window appears on the screen.
7. Select the directory of the server location in the Search field.
8. Click Open.
The default received directory is \\Server-name\Server-disk-name\BSA\LAN\IN.
9. Click New.
The new laboratory is created.
OR
6. If you selected Distant Server, configure the parameters of the window Telephone code:
ü International: International code (Example: 00)
ü Country: Country code (Example: 44 for England)
ü Region: Region code, in some countries if you call the same region you do not have to
dial the complete number (Example: in England)
ü Standard: to call an external number (Example: 0).
7. If the server access is performing via International, tick International box.
8. Enter the phone number of the server in Phone number zone.
9. Click New.
The new laboratory is created.
The Multiscan will dial to send the inscription request to the server (BSA).

Multiscan
Configuring default laboratory
Allows you to send automatically each job to the default laboratory. This operation is
possible only when you create a laboratory.
1. Create a laboratory.
2. Check off Default Lab to define the default laboratory.
3. Click New.
If another laboratory is already configured by default, the message A default laboratory
already exists. Do you want to continue? reads on the screen. Click Yes.
This new laboratory is now the default one.
Modifying the laboratory status
Allows you to modify the laboratory creation status.
You can not modify a laboratory already created.
Example: You can force a laboratory in error to another creating trying.
1. Select View Laboratories from the Laboratory menu.
The Laboratories Setting window appears on the screen listing the created laboratories.
2. Click on left of the laboratory you wish to modify the status.
3. Click Status.
The message To create appears in the Status field.
4. Click Cancel.
Modifying a laboratory
You may modify the laboratory properties already created.
Network: You can not modify a network server when it has been created and it is allowed
by the communication program.
Modem: You can modify only the phone number of a laboratory working via modem.
1. Select View Laboratories from the Laboratory menu.
The Laboratories Setting window appears on the screen.
2. Click on left of the laboratory to be modified.
3. Click Details.
The properties of the selected laboratory appear on the screen.
4. Modify the necessary parameters.
5. Click OK.

Viewing the laboratory properties
Allows you to view the server configuration in a laboratory.
1. Select View Laboratories from the Laboratory menu.
The Laboratories Setting window appears on the screen listing the created laboratories.
2. Click on left of the laboratory you wish to view the properties.
3. Click Details.
The properties of the selected laboratory appear on the screen.
4. After consultation, click Cancel.
Viewing the laboratory error
Allows you to view the error occurring on a laboratory transmission.
1. Select View Laboratories from the Laboratory menu.
The Laboratories Setting window appears on the screen listing the created laboratories.
2. Click on left of the laboratory you wish to view the errors.
3. Click Error.
The error type appears on the screen.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Cancel.
Viewing the laboratory list
Allows you to consult the laboratory list with which you are working.
1. Select View Laboratories from the Laboratory menu.
The Laboratories Setting window appears on the screen listing the created laboratories.
2. After consultation, click Cancel.
Deleting a laboratory
Allows you to delete a laboratory from the list and the database. You can delete a
laboratory only if there is no job is assigned to it. You must delete all the jobs assigned to
this laboratory before you delete the laboratory.
1. Select View Laboratories from the Laboratory menu.
The Laboratories Setting window appears on the screen listing the created laboratories.
2. Click on left of the laboratory to be deleted.
3. Click Delete.
The message Are you sure you want to delete this record? appears on the screen.
4. Click Yes.
The laboratory is deleted from the list.

5 Configuring the software
Multiscan
Configuring the software language
Allows you to configure your Multiscan program in French or English version.
1. Click Parameters menu.
The Password window appears on the screen.
2. Enter your password.
Briot provides it.
3. Click OK.
4. Click General Parameters tab.
5. Select English or Français in the Language field located at the bottom of the screen.
6. Click OK.
The message Save the changes? appears on the screen.
7. Click Yes.
Your Multiscan program is starting again.
Calibrating the screen size
Allows you to adjust the screen size of the frame shape.
1. Click Parameters menu.
The Password window appears on the screen.
2. Enter your password.
Briot provides it.
3. Click OK.
4. Click Screen Adjustment tab.
5. Measure the window size directly on the screen, aid of a ruler.
It should be equal to 50x50 mm.
6. If necessary, click:
ü to reduce or to enlarge the screen width until it is equal to 50 mm.
ü to enlarge or to reduce the screen width until it is equal to 50 mm.
7. Click OK.
The message Save the changes? reads on the screen.
8. Click Yes.
Your Multiscan program is starting again.

Configuring the function mode of the Scanform Net
Allows you to configure the function mode of the Scanform Net:
• Initiator Mode: F1, F2 and F3 keys of the Scanform Net are programmed to allow you
to enter job and scanning options directly from the Scanform Net (See paragraph
Initiator Mode below)
• Normal Mode: F1, F2 and F3 keys of the Scanform Net are not programmed: you must
enter the job and scanning options from the Multiscan application.
1. Click Parameters menu.
The Password window appears on the screen.
2. Enter your password.
Briot provides it.
3. Click OK.
4. Click on the General Parameters tab.
5. To set the functioning mode:
ü Initiator: Check off Initiator Mode (located at the bottom of the screen)
ü Normal: Do not check off Initiator Mode (located at the bottom of the screen).

Configuring the Serial Port of a Bar Code Reader
Allows you to configure the serial port of the Scanform Net.
1. Click Parameters menu.
The Password window appears on the screen.
2. Enter your password.
Briot provides it.
3. Click OK.
4. Click ScanForm Nets Management tab.
5. Select the serial port of the bar code reader in Serial port (com) zone in Bar Code Reader
window.
6. Click OK.
The message Save the changes? reads on the screen.
7. Click Yes.

Configuring Job Sending after Scanning
Allows you to configure direct sending of the job when the frame scanning is completed.
1. Click Parameters menu.
The Password window appears on the screen.
2. Enter your password.
Briot provides it.
3. Click OK.
4. Click General Parameters.
5. Configure the job sending after scanning:
ü Automatic Sending : Check off Send after scanning (located at the bottom of the
screen)
ü Manual Sending: Do not check off Send after scanning (located at the bottom of the
screen).
Configuring the Purge Time
Allows you to determine in number of days the period between two purges for the
database.
1. Click Parameters menu.
The Password window appears on the screen.
2. Enter your password.
Briot provides it.
3. Click OK.
4. Click General Parameters tab.
5. Enter the number of days between two purges in Purge Depth zone.
6. Click OK.
The message Save the changes? reads on the screen.
7. Click Yes.
Your Multiscan program is starting again.
Controlling the ScanForm Net calibration
Allows you to control the ScanForm Net calibration:
• Immediately (see paragraph Immediate control of the ScanForm Net calibration below)
• Delay (see paragraph Delayed control of the ScanForm Net calibration below).

Immediate control of the ScanForm Net calibration
Allows you to force immediately the check of the ScanForm Net calibration to make sure
there is no axis or size error for instance.
1. Select Adjusting ScanForm Nets menu.
The ScanForm Net Setting window appears on the screen.
2. Enter the number of the ScanForm Net to control.
3. Enter the diameter of the adjustment tool engraved on it.
4. Click Scan.
5. Insert the adjustment tool (round shape on the right side).
6. Press key of the ScanForm Net.
The calibration check of the ScanForm Net is performing.
7. If the message Scanform Calibration OK reads on the screen, click OK.
Otherwise, click OK and proceed to the Scanform Net adjustment.
Delayed control of the ScanForm Net calibration
Allows you to program the calibration check of the ScanForm Net after a certain number
of tracing cycles.
1. When the number of tracing operations has been reached, during creation of a new job
the message The program will check the calibration of scanform reads on the screen,
click OK.
The Checking Scanform window appears on the screen.
2. Enter the diameter of the adjustment tool engraved on it.
3. Click Scan.
4. Insert the adjustment tool (round shape on the right side).
5. Press key of the ScanForm Net.
The check of the ScanForm Net calibration is performing.
6. If the message Scanform Calibration OK reads on the screen, click OK.
Otherwise, click OK and proceed to the Scanform adjustment.
Delayed control configuration of the ScanForm Net
Allows you to program the calibration control frequency of the ScanForm Net,
determined from a certain number of tracing cycles.
1. Select Adjusting ScanForm Nets menu.
The ScanForm Net Setting window appears on the screen.
2. Click in zone Scanform Control.

3. Enter the frequency of the Scanform Net calibration controls in zone Nb of scanning.
The control will start automatically after a certain number of scanning cycles.
The default value is 100; i.e. the control of the ScanForm Net will start automatically
after 100 scannings if zone Scanform Control has been checked off.
4. Click OK.
The message Save the changes? reads on the screen.
5. Click Yes.
Your Multiscan program is starting again.
Checking control parameters of the ScanForm Net
Allows you to check when occurred the last control of the ScanForm Net and when the
next one will occur.
1. Select Adjusting ScanForm Nets menu.
The ScanForm Net Setting window appears on the screen.
2. Check the control parameters (See paragraph Control parameters of a Scanform Net below) in
the frame located at right bottom of the screen.
3. Click OK.

Allows you to activate applications associated to Multiscan.
1. Click Parameters menu.
The Password window appears on the screen.
2. Enter your password.
Briot provides it.
3. Click OK.
4. Click Programs to Start tab.
5. Check off the application(s) to activate.
6. Click OK.
The message Save the changes? reads on the screen.
7. Click Yes.
Your Multiscan program is starting again.
Configuring desactivation of applications associated to Multiscan
Allows you to desactivate applications associated to Multiscan.
1. Click Parameters menu.
The Password window appears on the screen.
2. Enter your password.
Briot provides it.
3. Click OK.
4. Click Programs to Start tab.
5. Check off the application(s) to desactivate.
6. Click OK.
The message Save the changes? reads on the screen.
7. Click Yes.

Viewing the job sending frequency
Allows you to set the periods jobs will be sent automatically to the laboratory.
1. Select View Laboratories from the Laboratory menu.
The Laboratories Setting window appears on the screen listing the created laboratories.
2. Click on left of the laboratory to be modified.
3. Click Details.
The properties of the selected laboratory appear on the screen.
4. Consult the job sending frequency in the following zones:
ü ACP Start:
Time in which the ACP mode starts
ü ACP Stop:
Time in which the ACP mode stops
ü FCP Start:
Time in which the FCP mode starts
ü FCP Stop:
Time in which the FCP mode stops
ü Call periodicity:
Automatic recall time from the Multiscan to the laboratory when first call failed

Multiscan
Configuring the database location
Allows you to configure in which directory the Language, Import and Jobs databases of
your program will be stored.
1. Click Parameters menu.
The Password window appears on the screen.
2. Enter your password.
Briot provides it.
3. Click OK.
4. Click General Parameters tab.
5. Click , located at right of the base field to be configure:
ü Language path
ü Import path
ü Jobs path
The Opening window appears on the screen.
6. Select the directory in which you wish to configure your base, in the Search field.
7. Click Open.
8. Go to step 5 until you configure all the necessary bases.
9. Click OK.
The message Save the changes? reads on the screen.
10. Click Yes.
Your Multiscan program is starting again.
Compacting a database
Allows you to compact a database of the Multiscan for backup.
1. Select Compact from Databases menu.
The Repair and Compact Databases window appears on the screen.
2. Select Compact, if not.
3. Select the database to compact in the scroll list.
4. Click OK.
The message Are you sure you want to compact the database? reads on the screen.
5. Click Yes.
The selected database is compressing.

Repairing a database
Allows you to repair a database when it is damaged or restore an old database.
1. Select Repair from Databases menu.
The Repair and Compact Databases window appears on the screen.
2. Select Repair, if not.
3. Select the database to repair in the scroll list.
4. Click OK.
The message Are you sure you want to repair the database? reads on the screen.
5. Click Yes.
The selected database is repairing.
Purging a database
Allows you to repair a database of the Multiscan to make more space.
1. Select Purge from Databases menu.
The purge is automatically performing.
When the purge is finished, the message Purge finished reads on the screen.
2. Click OK.

ACP
Appointment Call Period
During this period, the job sending will automatically be performed a set time, so if the
communication can not work at this period, it will be performed automatically during «Call
period».
BSA
Briot Scanform Application.
Program installed in a laboratory equipped with a Briot network allows:
• Receive data from shops and integrate them in the database.
• Receive requests from the edger and send it request jobs.
• Manage jobs from the database.
Customer
Bases where the lenses, patterns, jobs (transmitted, received and saved) are stored.
Database
Bases where the lenses, patterns, jobs (transmitted, received and saved) are stored.
FCP
Free Call Period
Performs sending of the jobs automatically according to the queue filling rules set by the lab server.
During this period, you can force the job to be sent immediately (see Forced sending).
Job
Corresponding to information relating to the frame shape, the lenses and the different parameters
of the customer necessary to edge the lens.
Laboratory
Workshop equipped with a Briot network where the jobs sent by the shops are finished and re-
