Fig. 4 presents the architecture of the data acquisition and pro-
cessing unit.

Ground-based System
The ground-based system is the primary platform for users
and maintenance staff to conduct the comprehensive process-

Based on the advanced signal processing methods, HX-HUMS
can realize the vibration monitoring, exceedance and alarms,
fault diagnosis, trend analysis and life prediction of the three
major components (rotor system, transmission system and
power system) and generate the final maintenance recommen-
dations. In addition, the ground-based system is responsible
for configurating the aircrafts and parts tracking to support
the analysis of the flight data. The schematic diagram of
HX-HUMS ground based system is shown in Fig. 5.
The HX-HUMS ground station software runs on the win-
