Spelling

Instruction: Underline the five (5) misspelled words in the paragraph below. Write out
the correct form of the identified words in the spaces provided below.

When using pronons, it is important to ensure they agree with their antecidents in number, gender, and

person. A singular antecedent needs a singular pronoun, like "Each student must bring his or her book to class."

For plural antecedents, use plural pronouns, such as "The players thanked their coach." If the antecedent is a

compond subject joined by "and," use a plural pronoun, as in "Tom and Jerry finished their homework."

However, if the compound subject is joined by "or" or "nor," the pronoun should agree with the closer subject,

like "Neither Sam nor his friends brought their lunch." Following these rules ensurs clarity and gramatical

correctness in writing.
