Crusade for Children: Since 1955 the people of the Archdiocese of Louisville have contributed nearly $6 million to the Crusade for Children. This community-wide effort exists to change the lives of children with special needs and is worthy of our support. This weekend, our parishes will be collecting donations for the Crusade, and those who wish to donate may use their stewardship envelope or by placing your contributions in an envelope marked for the Crusade for Children, and placing it in the collection. Catholic World Missions Collection: This collection will be taken up the weekend of June 9-10 because of an error when ordering our 2012 parish stewardship envelopes. Donations go to the Home and World Missions Collection, which funds pastoral and evangelizing programs for the poorest faith communities here and abroad. Your contributions help establish new parishes and missions, train and support lay catechists, and provide many other ministries and programs. This is our opportunity to give back to those in need.
