Service Modes for Android Main Machine


Initiate the SP mode with the default Ricoh
access code.
 Tap the Copier application button

Use the 10-key numeric pad on the right hand


side.
Reset [button] -> 8, 0, 6, 1, 8, 2 -> Press and
hold the Clear [button] for more than 3 seconds

You are now in the SP Mode for the main


machine
Service Modes for Android Operation Panel
Initiate the SP mode with the default Ricoh
access code.
 Tap the Copier application button

Use the 10-key numeric pad on the right hand


side.
Reset [button] -> 8, 0, 6, 1, 8, 2 -> Press the #
[button] twice and press the Clear [button].

You are now in the Android Operation Panel


menu.

Cheetah V1.1.5 Recovery Mode for Android OS

 Switch the power off.


 Power on whilst pressing the Menu and
Back buttons.

Whilst the device is powering up and before the


Android start-up screen is displayed press the
Status and Stop [buttons] for more than 4
seconds.

If you see this screen before you press the


Status and Stop [buttons] you have gone too
far.

Android System Recovery <3e>


Android System Recovery Utility
Use the Back and Menu [button to scroll up and
down the list and the Home [button] to select
action.
 Reboot system now
 Apply update from sdcard
 Wipe data/factory reset
 Wipe cache partition
 Wipe free data partition
Cheetah V2 Recovery Mode for Android OS
To enter the Android Recovery Mode for this SOP make sure that the Start-Up mode is set to normal otherwise
you will not be able to get to the Android Recovery Mode.
(The factory default setting is the normal mode)

Switch Off the device

The extended feature keys can be found on the


left hand side of the SOP under a plastic cover.
The top key is EX1.

Hold EX1 and EX3 until the blue screen appears


and then press EX1 and EX2

Android System Recovery <3e>


EX1/EX2 to move the highlight. EX3 to select the
action.

Please note that on this version of the SOP you


have 2 more options in this menu.

 Reboot system now


 Apply update from sdcard
 Wipe data/factory reset
 Wipe cache partition
 Wipe free data partition
 Wipe LegacyUI area
 Micon update from sdcard
