Mateus 6:9-15 / Lucas 11:1-4 / II Crônicas 7:14.

Matthew 6:9-15

Therefore, you shall pray like this: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name

Come your kingdom, be done your will, on earth as in heaven

Give us this day our daily bread

And forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors

And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil; for yours is the kingdom, and the power, and
the glory, forever. Amen

For if you forgive men their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
will forgive you

But if you do not forgive men their offenses, neither will your Father forgive you.
He will forgive your offenses

(II Chronicles 7:14)

And if my people, who are called by my name, humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face
and if they turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive the
your sins, and I will heal your land.

Prayer speaks of relationship, we have to put ourselves in our place in relation to

God, for He is Father, and we are His children, and this means that we must be submissive.
His will, we must humble ourselves in the presence of the Lord, we must have confidence.
Nele (Faith), we have to be submissive, for as Father the responsibility to care and protect
For us it is His, the only thing He expects from us is respect, that is, that we do not
let us sin, for this scars the holiness of the Lord.
INTRODUCTION

When we pray, we are talking to the Lord. There are principles for prayer.
effective (so that the Lord may answer our requests), to see what
we wish to be fulfilled in our lives.

This is why today we will learn from the Lord Jesus and the Wonderful Spirit
Saint of God, Amen?

1. PRINCIPLES FOR PRAYER.

1.1. We should not pray as a form of ostentation but rather so that we may be
administered by God. Pray that God listens, not so that people listen. It is necessary
to humble oneself in prayer and not to exalt oneself.

We have a clear example in the bible about this type of procedure, let's see:

Luke 18:11-14

The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed in this way: O God, I thank you because
I am not like other men, robbers, unjust, and adulterers; nor even like
this publican

I fast twice a week and give tithes of all that I possess.

The tax collector, however, standing far away, did not even want to lift his eyes to
heaven, but he beat his chest, saying: O God, have mercy on me, a sinner

I tell you that this one went down justified to his house, and not that one; for everyone who
he who exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be
exalted

God does not care for beautiful words, but for sincerity; He knows of
the need of each one, but wishes to create a relationship through prayer, to generate
trust, communion and revealing Himself to us, revealing how present He is in our lives.
lives.

1.2. Prayer is something personal between us and God. We need to be sincere before Him.
Sir. We cannot be superficial in the conversation.

1.3. One must maintain a daily personal devotional. This generates intimacy with God.

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray
your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you
publicly.

One should spend at least 30 minutes a day on this. We need to establish a time.
of personal prayer.
1.4. We need to establish a time of prayer for the family.

1.5. One should not use vain repetitions. E.g.: Prayers, novenas.

1. 6. We must have purposes in prayer, the Holy Spirit will put in our lips the
right words, if we wait on Him.

1.7. Prayer must be accompanied by faith; without faith, there are no answers.

Now, without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he who comes to God must believe that He is...
He who approaches God must believe that He exists, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

We do not need to see to believe, but to believe to see.

Jesus said to her, 'Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?'

We must be fully convinced that God is attentive to what we say, for

He hears our prayers.

2. OUR STYLE OF PRAYER.

Style is the set of expression qualities, characteristics of someone.

We will see in some biblical characters their style of prayer:

2. 1. Regarding the location.

Isaac meditates in the field.

Genesis 3:8 - God sought fellowship with man in the garden.
Matthew 14:23 - Jesus went up on the mountain to pray.

Luke 5:16 - Jesus withdrew to lonely places.

John 11:41-42 - Jesus prayed at the cemetery.
Acts 21:5 - Paul prays on the beach.
Acts 22:16 - Paul prays in the temple.
Daniel prayed in his room facing Jerusalem.

2.2. Regarding time.

Genesis 3:8 - God was seeking the man in the cool of the day.
Genesis 24:63 - Isaac meditates in the evening twilight.

Matthew 14:23 - Jesus was praying in the evening.

Psalms 5:3 - David prays in the morning.
Psalms 42:8 - David prays at night.
Psalms 119:63 - David prays at midnight.
Daniel prayed three times a day.
Daniel prayed for 21 days.
Ephesians 6:18 - Paul prays at all times.

2.3. Regarding the size.

Nehemiah 1:4-9 - A medium-sized prayer (sit, cry, and lament).

Daniel 2:19-23 - Short prayer (thanks for the answer).
Nehemiah 2:4-5 - Very short prayer (seeking direction).
Nehemiah 9:5-37 - Long prayer (interceding for help for the people).

We must be connected to the Lord 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, that is,
always, because our relationship is continuous and lasting.

2.4. Regarding the manner.

Daniel 6:10 - As was his custom. He had the habit of praying facing Jerusalem.
thank the Lord for His grace.
Luke 22:44 - Intensely. Jesus prayed intensely on the Mount of Olives, for he knew
that the time will come to fulfill your calling.
Daniel 10:2 - Intercede for the nation.
Daniel 2:17-18 - Call for help.
Psalm 26:1 - Cry for help for yourself.
Psalms 69:22-25 - Unleash your desires.
Luke 9:16 - Bless the food. Jesus thanked the Father for the provided nourishment.
that day.
Luke 6:12 - Preparing for the selection of disciples.
John 11:41-42 - Thanking in advance.

Just as you created your style of clothing, of hairstyle, of diet,

seek to develop your style of communion with the Lord.

Living in prayer should be a lifestyle for every believer (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

"Pray without ceasing"; in your intimacy with your Lord, you will discover the peculiar way of your
to commune with Him.
And do not forget that He waits for you at the turning of the day. And as the dear one says
Prª. Valinice Milhomens: We will meet at the Throne at 6 PM, delivering to
Our King, the incense, which is our prayers, neutralizing the worship of the called
queen of heaven

3. TEN ITEMS THAT JESUS ESTABLISHED IN PRAYER.

1° - REDEMPTION - Our Father.

Why call Him Father? Because only the converted, only those who have received Jesus,
you can call him Father

(John 1:12) - But to all who received him, he gave the power to become children
of God, to those who believe in His name;

Because He gave us life when we were dead.

And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,

I have been crucified with Christ; and I no longer live, but Christ lives
in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who
love, and he gave himself for me.

God has given us promises, and through them He has made us partakers of the divine nature.

2° - AUTORIDADE - Que está nos céus.

He is the Lord: sovereign, creator, all-powerful.

He gave us authority and power
(Mark 16:17) - And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will cast out demons.
demons; they will speak new languages;

Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and all the strength
of the enemy, and nothing shall harm you.

He gave us lordship on Earth.

We are ambassadors of the Lord's Kingdom, we legally represent Him through

Christ Jesus, children legitimized by the blood of Jesus, love?

3° - ADORATION - Hallowed be thy name.

The Lord seeks true worshipers who will worship Him in spirit and in truth.
truth.
(John 4:23-24).
But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in
spirit and in truth; for the Father seeks such to worship Him

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

4° - GOVERNMENT - Your kingdom come to us.

All power in heaven and on earth was given to Jesus... this is an inheritance for us
also.

Matthew 28:18
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and on earth.

God governs the entire Universe and also governs my life. Amen?

The government of God implies impacting the world through the Gospel.

Establishing the government of God here on earth implies obedience.

commandment that Paul recorded in

1 Timothy 2:1-4 - pray for all established authorities.

I urge you, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercessions,

and thanksgiving, for all men

For kings, and for all those who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet life
and peaceful, in all piety and honesty

For this is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior

That all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

5° - EVANGELIZATION - Your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven.

The implementation of the kingdom of God pertains to the desire that God has to establish
all things in order with His revealed Word: that all may be saved, that
be saints, so that there is no injustice or corruption, etc.

God's will is that every sinner repents, so we need to

evangelize the world.

7 conditions to be an evangelist:

1°) To be saved. (Romans 3:24).

2°) Equip yourself biblically. (Proverbs 2:1-5).
3°) Have compassion for the lost. Love them and do not criticize them. (Mark 6:34 / Matthew)
14:14).
4°) Be filled with the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:8; 2:4 / John 14:16).
5°) Be an active member of a Church. (Hebrews 13:17).
6°) To have a good testimony. (Exodus 18:21).
7°) Testify to others what God has done in your life.

Therefore, lead a life according to God's standard: do not drink, do not smoke, do not use.
drugs, do not engage in prostitution, etc.

For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that

you abstain from prostitution; That each of you know how to possess your own vessel in
sanctification and honor

6th - PROVISION - Give us this day our daily bread.

God provides the necessary provision for a life without lack, without misery.

Dependence on God, trust, faith.

(Hebrews 11:1).
NOW, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
they do not see

7th - FORGIVENESS - Forgive us our debts as we forgive.

Oh Lord, forgive me... Have you already forgiven your brother?

(Matthew 18:21,22).
So Peter approached him and said: Lord, how many times will my brother sin?
against me, and I will forgive you? Up to seven; Jesus said to him: I do not say to you up to seven;
but, even seventy times seven

Your heart cannot be filled with grievances.

Ephesians 4:31
All bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and shouting, and slander, and all malice be taken away
among you,

8º - PROTEÇAO -Não nos deixes cair em tentação.

It is necessary to strengthen oneself in the Lord and put on the whole armor of God.
(Ephesians 6:10-13).
Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His power. Put on the
the whole armor of God, so that you can stand firm against the cunning schemes of the
devil. Because we do not have to fight against flesh and blood, but rather against the
principalities, against the powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against the
spiritual hosts of wickedness, in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of
God, so that you may stand firm on the evil day and, having done everything, stand firm.

We need to stand firm in difficult days and be steadfast in the face of circumstances.

(II Corinthians 4:17)

For our light and momentary affliction produces for us an eternal weight of
great glory;

9th - LIBERATION - But deliver us from evil.

Only those who are redeemed by Christ are free.

(John 8:32) - And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

Those who are free have authority in the name of Jesus.

To be free always, it is necessary to walk in the direction that the Holy Spirit indicates.

(Galatians 5:25) - If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit

10th - SECURITY - For yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever.

One can come confidently before the throne of grace.

Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain
mercy and finding grace, in order to be helped in a timely manner.
