Fahrenheit to Celsius = Subtract 32 from the degrees Celsius to Fahrenheit = Multiply the Celsius degrees
Fahrenheit and then divide it by 1.8 by 1.8 and add 32 to the product
For example, 80 ºF = 80–32 = 48 ÷ 1.8 = 26.67ºC (Ex.27ºC = 27x1.8 = 48.6 + 32 = 80.6ºF)
Conversion Rules Formula for Drug Dosage
To change from a large measurement to a small one, you multiply. D. D (Dosis deseada) = ____ x S (Suplido) = DA (Cantidad de droga a ser administrada)
Switching from a small measure to a large one is divided. D.M (Dose at Hand) ↓
Forma de Presentación (mL, tabs, caps, supp, etc)
It is divided or multiplied by 1,000, 100 or 10.
Multiply = The dot is rolled 3, 2, or 1 space to the right as appropriate.
Divide = The point rolls 3, 2, or 1 spaces to the left as appropriate.
