Regenerating: A New Era in Aesthetics
Over the last decade, aesthetic medicine has shifted focus:
/ Not only volume replacement, but also skin stimulation.
/ Focusing on skin quality by restoring skin vitality.
This evolution reflects a growing demand for natural-looking, long-term results—not just
structural changes, but true skin regeneration.

Why Surface Matters: Importance of Superficial Layers
The superficial layers of the skin play a crucial role in maintaining overall skin quality.
Skin physiology teaches us that any
disruption of the skin barrier—whether
caused by thermal, mechanical, chemical, or
other external stressors—does not stop at the
surface.
Instead, it can trigger the synthesis of
signaling molecules that penetrate into the
dermis and activate regenerative
mechanisms.
Understanding and leveraging this natural cascade is fundamental for developing
treatments that promote skin regeneration and restoration without damaging
downtime.

PRX-PLUS
THE FORMULA
33% AMMONIUM TRICHLOROACETATE
ATCA stimulates production of collagen type III, therefore it is responsible for the tightening effect.
2% HOMOCYSTEIC ACID
HoA is CELL REGENERATING and a SMART LIGHTENING ingredient.
CITRIC & PHYTIC ACID
PhyAc: ANTIOXIDANT – CHELATING – TYROSINASE INHIBITOR
CA: INCREASE INGREDIENTS ABSORPTION
How does PRX-PLUS work: A Multilayer Approach
First Layer: Stratum Corneum – The Smoothing Gateway
Citric acid facilitates the absorption
Epidermis:
HCA and phytic acid stimulate queratinocytes and melanocytes.
Dermis: Deep Stimulation Without Needles
ATCA activates fibroblasts for collagen types I and III.
Result: Visible rejuvenation, firm and luminous skin.
Collagen Regeneration Timeline
DAY
1–2 Activation of fibroblasts
3–7 Pro Collagen Synthesis
7–14 Collagen Deposition
15–30 Dermal Remodelling
30–60+ Cumulative effect up to 6 months
Action of ATCA on the Dermis
Once the citric acid softens the keratin at the stratum corneum level, all the other active ingredients, such as ATCA are able to reach
the epidermis.
ATCA First messenger: ATCA
It interacts with keratinocytes in the epidermis causing
Proliferation them to produce Growth Factors.
PDGF-B
Epidermis: TGF-β1 Second messenger: Growth Factors
Keratinocytes
TGF-α They migrate into the papillary dermis where they bind
VEGF to fibroblast receptors and stimulate their activation
and proliferation.
RESULT OF THE BIOCHEMICAL CASCADE:
o Producing new collagen (types I and III)
o Synthesizing hyaluronic acid and other glycosaminoglycans (GAGs)
o Reconstructing and remodeling the extracellular matrix (ECM)
Dermis
This regenerative process is essential to restore dermal architecture, improve skin elasticity, and enhance overall skin quality.

PRX-PLUS Application Massage Protocol – Key Guidelines
The application of PRX-PLUS is performed through a specific massage technique that requires
precision and adherence to protocol in order to maximize efficacy and ensure optimal results
1. Glove Selection:
Always use nitrile gloves, not latex, to prevent allergic reactions
When using a spatula (e.g., WiQo spatula), cover the tip with nitrile material for
safety and glide
2. Initial Application:
Start by applying the product on a small, limited test area to assess skin response
3. Massage Technique:
Massage the product gently into the skin
Ensure the skin is well-lubricated to avoid friction or micro-abrasions
If the glove or spatula does not glide smoothly, apply additional product
4. Sensory Feedback:
A slight tingling is normal and expected.
If the patient reports intense burning or discomfort, it may indicate skin irritation.
In this case:
Stop the procedure immediately.
Rinse with water thoroughly.
Apply WiQo Nourishing and Moisturizing Cream for Dry Skin to soothe the area.
