1. DESIGN OF ONEWAY CONTINUOUS SLAB

This note presents design of slab at Platform level between grid 1 to 12.
1.1 INTRODUCTION:-
--- Here all the slab panel are oneway (ratio <= 2)
--- So slab are design as a oneway continuous . For simplicity one meter strip of slab are taken
Which is analysed and design

1.2 Loading data:-

(a) Dead load:-

wall load = 5.30 kN/m
Self wt of slab = 3.75 kN/m²
(b) Super imposed Dead load:-

Floor finish = 3.75 kN/m²

Suspension Load = 2.00 kN/m²
(c) Live load :-
Live load :- = 5 kN/m²

1.3 Material data:-

Concrete fck = 50 MPa
Steel fy = 500 MPa
Width (B) = 1000 mm
Depth (D) = 150 mm
Clear Cover = 35 mm
Effective Depth = 110 mm

1.4 Basic Load:-

For Grid 1 to 12
1 Dead Load (Self Weight)
2 SIDL (Floor Finish Load/Suspension load)
3 LL1 ( Equipment load (5kN/sqm))

Load combination :- (As per Specification given in IS 456 )
