Tittes: Consolidation
Objective Consolidate feature allows the user to collate the data with minimal efforts. It
selects the contents of the cells from several worksheets and maintains the collected data in a
master worksheet.
Procedure:
Step 1: Open ibraoffice calcsoftware
Step 2:- Rename the sheet to ABC BRANCH and enter the data in the spread sheet
Step 3:- Insert the sheet after the current work sheet by clicking on the +button and rename the
sheet with XYZ_BRANCh, then enter the data
Step 3:- Insert the sheet after the current worksheet and rename with consolidation, then enter
the fields Item, January, February
Step 4:- Click on Datamenu ’ select the option consolidation (0R)click Alt+D+C
Step 5:- Choose the function Sum ’ Select the cell where the data has to be consolidated ’ type
the range of cells $ABC_ BRANCH.$A$1:$A$6 or click on shrink button and drag the range of cells
of the January Month’ Click on Add Button.
Step 6:- "Place the cursor on the February column."’ Click on shrink button and select the range
of cells and click on Add button> Consolidation was done for January and February months ’
Click on Ok button
Learning Outcome:- We are able to analyse (combine) the data with the feature consolidation.

class and chose Count function ’ select the average and choose Average function Cick on ok
button.

Step 3: GotoTools > Macros > Record Macro.
The MacroRecorder toolbar willappear.
Step 4: Apply the following formatting:
