First Term English Test

A/ COMPREHENSION: Read the text carefully, then do the

activities (8pts)
Hi Amira,
How is it going? I hope you are doing great. I have always wanted to get to
know someone from Algeria, and I could not miss the chance once I came across
your profile.
My name is Eva Arnold. It is a common name here in Norway, which means
“life”. I am 16 years old and I am a pupil. My high school is just a few blocks away
from my house, so I sometimes go there on foot, except when it is raining. I love
walking in the rain, but my mother never lets me do it. She happens to be a
teacher at my school, and we usually walk there together. My father, who works
as a doctor, offers to drive us by his car, but Mom never accepts since the school
is not that far. Therefore, my father only drives my 5-year-old sister Anne to her
kindergarten.
I am extremely passionate about learning new languages. Now, I am trying
to learn both Spanish and Japanese. I am an introvert, so I spend most of my time
at home either watching anime or drawing manga. Ah, yes, I will share with you
some of my art. I hope you will like it.
Well, I guess that is all for now. It is your turn to let me know about yourself.

Kindest Regards,
Eva
