Which benefit may i have from TIANI
- Check DICOM settings in your own envirorement
- Convince customer that the scanners DICOM setup
is working
- Convince local IT that the error is not on our end
and get them to work

Installation of TIANI
1. Install TIANI on your laptop
(Doubleclick on [Link])
(On some computers you have to install/update Java,
just execute the jre*.exe for that!)
2. Create a local TIANI folder on the D partition
(Benefit: If the laptop has to be reimaged, worklist and
images on the TIANI folder will remain in that folder)
3. Create a subfolder for images (e.g. IMAGE_STORE)

Setup of TIANI ImageServer –
Part 1
1. Start the TIANI ImagerServerGUI
(START=>All Programs=>jdicom=> )
2. Click on to do the setup
3. Set „Port“ to e.g. 5104 and press ENTER
4. Set „CalledTitles“ to e.g. IMAGE_SERVER and press
ENTER CalledTitles stands for AE Title
5. Set „[Link]“ to the created folder for the
images, like e.g. D:/TIANI/IMAGE_STORE and press
ENTER Use / instead of \ !!

Part 2
1. Set „Verbose“ to 3 and press ENTER
(That will effect the detail level of the log)

Use of TIANI ImageServer
1. Click to get the service running
2. Props will switch automatically to

Part 1
1. Start the TIANI RisServerGUI
(START=>All Programs=>jdicom=> )
2. Click on to do the setup
3. Set „Port“ to e.g. 6104 and press ENTER
4. Set „CalledTitle“ to e.g. WL_SERVER and press
ENTER CalledTitle stands for AE Title
5. Set „[Link]“ to the created TIANI folder,
like e.g. D:/TIANI and press ENTER
Use / instead of \ !!

Setup of patient information in the
worklist – Part 1
1. Click to enter the worklist editor
2. Click and then to create a new patient
3. Choose the new created patient dataset by clicking the
„SheduledProcedureStepID“
4. Now click to enter the editor
5. Change information like you want
(After each entry change press ENTER!!!)
6. To save patient data press !!!

worklist – Part 2
1. PatientName:
Patient^Name = Firstname^Lastname
2. Modality:
Should be US instead of OT.
(Because normally an U/S system is setup to
receive only US
