Assignment 1 – Creating a Simple Database
Topic: Student Performance Record
Instructions:
1. Create a new database named Student_Performance.
2. Create a table named Marks_Table with the following fields:
- Roll_No (Primary Key)
- Student_Name
- Subject
- Marks
- Grade
3. Enter data for at least 10 students in the table.
4. Save and display the table in DataSheet View.
Assignment 2 – Queries and Filters
Topic: Retrieving Useful Information
Instructions:
1. Create a Query to display students who scored more than 80 marks.
2. Create another Query to display students with Grade = 'A'.
3. Sort the result by Student_Name in ascending order.
4. Save the queries as High_Scorers and Grade_A_Students.
Assignment 3 – Forms and Reports
Topic: Creating Forms and Reports
Instructions:
1. Create a Form for easy data entry in your Marks_Table.
2. Create a Report showing the average marks of all students.
3. Add the school name and your name in the Report header.
4. Export the report as a PDF file.

Assignment 4 – Using Goal Seek and Solver
Topic: Sales Target Achievement
Instructions:
1. Create a spreadsheet showing Product Name, Cost Price, Selling Price, and Profit.
2. Use Goal Seek to find what Selling Price will make a profit of ₹5000.
3. Use Solver to find the best combination of sales quantities to reach a total revenue of
₹50,000.
4. Format the sheet properly using borders and cell colors.
Assignment 5 – Scenarios and What-If Analysis
Topic: Budget Planning
Instructions:
1. Create a table showing Monthly Income and Expenses (Food, Rent, Travel, Savings).
2. Create at least three scenarios:
- Normal Month
- Festive Month
- Low-Income Month
3. Use Scenario Manager and What-If Analysis to compare total savings in all cases.
4. Display the results using a Bar Chart.

Assignment 6 – Applying Styles
Topic: My Dream Career
Instructions:
1. Create a document titled “My Dream Career” (Font size 16, bold, centered).
2. Use “Heading 1” for main headings and “Text Body” for paragraphs.
3. Include at least three sections:
- Introduction
- Skills Needed
- Why I Chose This Career
4. Apply at least three different styles (e.g., Quote, Subtitle, Emphasis).
Assignment 7 – Table of Contents and Formatting
Topic: Impact of Artificial Intelligence in Daily Life
Instructions:
1. Create a well-structured document with at least four main headings (use Heading 1 and
2).
2. Insert a Table of Contents at the beginning.
3. Add relevant images and captions.
4. Format important points using bold, italics, and bullets.
5. Save your file as AI_Impact.odt and export it as AI_Impact.pdf.

• Write handwritten steps of how you performed the task below each printed output.
• Submit both hard copy and soft copy (in .odb, .ods, .odt, and .pdf formats).
• Keep all assignments in one transparent stick file.
• Original and creative work will be rewarded — identical work will lose marks.
