LAC Session on Daily Lesson Preparation
Dates and Venue: September 29, 2023/Kindergarten Classroom-Magsaysay Elementary School
Objectives:
This activity aims to:
1. 1. Support Classroom Management and Lesson Organization:
o Assist teachers in effectively planning, organizing, and managing their classes and
lessons.
o Ensure that teaching strategies and lesson delivery lead to the achievement of intended
learning outcomes.
2. Empower Teachers for Quality Instruction:
o Enable teachers to deliver instruction that recognizes and accommodates learner
diversity.
o Encourage commitment to the success of all learners.
o Promote the use of varied instructional strategies and formative assessments, including
the integration of Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
o Strengthen the teacher’s role in guiding, mentoring, and supporting learners in assessing
and developing their learning across the curriculum.
o Highlight the importance of active participation in meetings and collaborative
discussions to share best practices and adapt learning programs effectively.

Preliminaries
The LAC session was conducted in the Kindergarten classroom, beginning at 2:00 PM. The session
opened with a remark from the speaker, Shiela May O. Tarog. Lei Anne Kate G. Dimailig led the
opening prayer and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem.
Session Proper
1. Parts of DepEd Lesson Plan
o Facilitated by Shiela May O. Tarog, this session focused on the components of the
DepEd lesson plan and emphasized the importance of following the prescribed format
in delivering effective lessons or demonstration teachings.
o The session reinforced the connection between structured lesson planning and achieving
learning outcomes, highlighting how careful planning ensures lessons are responsive to
learners’ needs.
2. Lesson Plan Crafting and Sample Discussions
o Facilitated by Maricel M. Doagoho, this session guided participants through the
process of crafting lesson plans.
o Sample lesson plans were discussed to serve as practical guides, providing teachers
with concrete strategies for lesson preparation and adaptation.
o Highlight: The session encouraged active participation in collaborative discussions and
meetings, emphasizing sharing best practices and adapting learning programs to
meet diverse learner needs effectively.
