Ans:Five important steps to prevent communicable diseases during the picnic:

1.​ Wash hands properly before eating and after using the toilet.
2.​ Drink clean or bottled water to avoid waterborne diseases.
3.​ Keep food covered to protect it from flies and dust.
4.​ Avoid sharing personal items like bottles, spoons, or towels.
5.​ Dispose of waste properly to keep the area clean and germ-free.

1. Mina is training for a big race next week. To stay strong and energetic, what kinds
of food should she include in her diet? Explain how these foods help her body
during her training and after the race.
Ans:​
During Training Period -
Mina should eat energy-giving foods such as bananas, bread, rice or pasta.​
These foods are rich in carbohydrates, which provide quick energy for running.
After race -
She should eat protein-rich foods such as eggs, milk, beans, or nuts.​
These foods help repair and build muscles after exercise and restore energy.

Eating a balanced diet with fruits, vegetables, and plenty of water will also help her
stay healthy and strong throughout her training.

2. Amit complained of tiredness, loss of appetite and appeared pale. He was unable
to concentrate on studies. The doctor told him that he is anaemic. What dietary
changes should be advised to him?

ANS Anaemia is a condition in which the body has low iron causing tiredness and
paleness.

Dietary advice: Amit should eat iron-rich foods like spinach, beetroot, jaggery, eggs,
and beans, and include vitamin C foods like oranges and tomatoes to help absorb
iron.
