VISA PROCESS

MALTA VISA PROCEDURE


For a Malta visa, you need to apply for a Schengen visa. These are the steps you need to
keep in mind:

• Book an appointment for a Schengen visa to proceed with your application

• Download the application form from their website and fill it out correctly

• Submit all the required documents along with the form

• Once your documents are accepted, you will be called for an interview

Wait for a response on your visa application; it may take up to 15 days or more

ITALY VISA PROCEDURE


• The student needs to visit the nearest VFS center to submit Visa file.

• The student must carry all documents as required.

• The student will have to undergo a brief security check before a token is issued.

• For submission of Visa application, the student will be called at the submission
counters as per the token number. Staff will check the completeness of application and
capture application information in the system.

• Funds to the tune of 7200 Euro per year or 600 Euro for each month of academic year
will need to be shown in the bank account of sponsor.

• An acknowledgement receipt will be issued for submission of VISA application and


payment of Visa fees.

• Students are being called to the Embassy for an interview after which the Visa will be
granted within 10 to 15 days.

FRANCE VISA PROCEDURE
Step 1 Register Online
 Register online on [Link]
nfrance/dyn/public/[Link] and complete the online “Campus France Form”.

 Upload all related documents and submit the form.

 Please email the file number (Example IN123456) that is generated on submission
to the nearest Campus France office for verification of the entries and
confirmation.

Step 2 Appointment With a campus France Education Advisor


 Request an appointment through email to the Campus France office for an
academic interview with the Education Advisor

 The student will have to appear in person or Skype and furnish all mandatory
documents (originals + one set of photocopies).

Step 3 Appointment with VFS FRANCE


 Once the interview with Campus France is over an NOC is issued to the student

 An appointment must be booked online for the submission of documents at VFS


France.

IRELAND VISA PROCEDURE


NORMAL VISA
• Application must be lodged at the VFS centre at least 6 weeks prior to proposed
date of travel.

• Students must have an unconditional offer letter and he/she must pay a
minimum deposit of 6000 Euros if fees is 12000 Euros or less and 50% of tuition
fee if fee is more than 12000 Euros.

• Student applications lodged 3 weeks or prior to proposed date of travel will not be
processed, the 3 weeks deadline is for the file to reach visa office in New Delhi and
not the time of submission in VFS office

AIP VISA
APPROVAL IN PRINCIPLE SCHEME
• Apply with the conditional offer (pending final year marksheets and provisional
degree)

• Student must have paid a minimum deposit of 6000 Euros.

• Application to be lodged at least 7 weeks before the course start date.

• Once the final year marksheet and provisional degree has been submitted to the
Ireland Embassy, New Delhi, the visa will be issued.

GERMANY VISA PROCEDURE


• The best time to apply for a German student visa is immediately after receiving the
university letter of admission and securing the necessary funds to live and study in
Germany.

• On average, it takes up to 25 days for your German student visa application to be


processed. The processing time varies depending on the country and the German
embassy you apply at.

• Application Fee 75 EUR, Students must pay a yearly residence permit fee 110 EUR.

MONTHLY EXPENSES

Students have to maintain a blocked account of 11,208 Euro and every month they can
take only 934 Euro from that account.

• On an average a student needs Euro 934 per month for living expenses. The biggest
monthly expenditure is rent.

NETHERLANDS VISA PROCEDURE


• Nationals of countries outside the EU who wish to come to the Netherlands for a
stay of more than three months need an authorization for temporary stay (MVV).

• The University will process the visa application (MVV) by applying for the same in
the Netherlands on behalf of the students.

• Visa shall be received in around 4-8 weeks. Student needs to go for Biometrics at
the local Embassy.

• On arriving in the Netherlands, the University will apply for a residence permit on
behalf of the student.

• The Fees for Visa and residence permit application is usually included in the
University Tuition fees package which is approx. € 100-200

POLAND VISA PROCEDURE

• Find the nearest Polish consulate or embassy to set up an appointment. You can set
up an appointment through the e-Konsulat website of the Polish Ministry of Foreign
Affairs.

• Complete the application form through the E-Konsulat website. Along with setting up
your appointment, you can also complete the application form through the e-Konsulat
website.

• Collect the required documents. There is a set of documents that support your visa
application, such as your letter of acceptance to the university. See the full list of
documents under “Supporting Documents” below.

• Submit the application in person at the Polish embassy or consulate. Once you have
your documents, you must submit them in person on the date of your appointment.

• Attend the visa interview if it is required. Some embassies may require a visa
interview, to get to know you and determine whether you should receive a visa.

• Wait for the decision. Once your application has been submitted, you just need to wait
to hear a decision. The embassy will notify you how long it will take; usually 15 days.

• Poland's student visa fee ranges from 80 Euros to 120 Euros based on the visa type.
Poland Type D visa costs around 80 to 100 euros. The visa fee, once paid, is non-
refundable. It is also subject to change.

• Poland's Student Visa processing time is much shorter than other European
countries. The student visa processing time in Poland ranges from 4 to 8 weeks. It will
get delayed if you do not submit the documents properly.

SWITZERLAND VISA PROCEDURE

1. CHECK VISA REQUIREMENTS:

2. HEALTH INSURANCE:
Obtain health insurance coverage that meets Swiss requirements. Some institutions
may offer their insurance plans.

3. PROOF OF FINANCIAL MEANS:


Provide evidence of sufficient funds to cover your living expenses during your stay in
Switzerland. This could include bank statements or a financial guarantee from a sponsor.

4. LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:
If your program is in a language other than your native language, you may need to
demonstrate proficiency. Check the language requirements of your chosen program.

5. VISA APPLICATION:
Complete the visa application form provided by the Swiss embassy or consulate. You
may need to do this online or submit a physical application.

6. SUBMIT DOCUMENTS:
Prepare all necessary documents, including but not limited to:

Passport with at least two blank pages.

Passport-sized photos.

Letter of acceptance from the educational institution.

Proof of financial means.

SPAIN
The application process for a Spain Student Visa includes two parts. Part one is in your
home country, where you apply for the visa at a Spanish embassy or consulate. Part two
is upon arrival to Spain, where you have to get a student residence card (TIE or Foreigner
Identity Card)
• Make sure you are eligible for a Spain student visa.

• Collect the required documents.

• Make an appointment with the Spanish embassy. The earliest you can apply is
three months, while the latest is three weeks. See the Spain diplomatic missions
abroad.

• Attend the appointment.

• Pay the application fees. The fee for the student visa for Spain covers the
application process and is different for different nationalities.

- USA citizens will need to pay €141.

- Canadian citizens pay €83.

- Other nationals pay a fee of €80.


• Wait for approval. Usually, you have to wait about a month to get an answer.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS IN SPAIN

• Get your student residence card. After submitting the required documents, you
can get your student residence card, which is valid for one year.

Service Tax –SGST @9% and CGST@9% payable for provision of multiple mode of
payment. Please note fee are not refundable.

• Student need to carry three sets of documents for visa appointment. One set of
original documents and two sets of photocopy documents
• Student need to undergo with the general Aptitude and Mathematics test in
which he/she needs to score well

• Student must book three months of accommodation (paid).

The visa application forms (short stay and long stay) have to be filled out online and
submitted electronically to the VFS Visa Application Center (VAC)

Procedure to be followed:

• The applicant / head of family has to create an account at the following address:

• The applicant will receive then a copy of the visa application form at the email
address mentioned in his account.

• Please print the form and go to the Visa Application Center you have chosen in
your application. Make sure to bring the required supporting documents and the
visa &service fees.

• At the visa application center, your picture will be taken live (for all applicants –
short stay AND long stay). The fingerprints will be taken only for the short and
long stay visas if it’s required.

• Your visa application will be processed, as usual, at the Belgian


Embassy/Consulate General

With the new visa code applicable from 2nd February 2020 only holders of official
passports, family members of EU citizens and VIPs with an appointment from the
Embassy or the Consulate of Belgium can apply directly at the Embassy or the Consulate
instead of at the VAC. The decision whether an applicant is to be considered a VIP or not,
rests entirely in the hands of the concerned Belgian mission.

HOW MUCH IS THE HANDLING FEE (COST FOR PROCESSING YOUR VISA

The handling fee is paid in Indian Rupees is as per the exchange rate communicated by
the Embassy of Belgium in New Delhi. The same is subject to change without notice. The
visa fee is non-refundable.

The handling fee for a short term stay visa (C) is 80 euro, except for children between 6
and 12 years old, which is 40 euro and children up to 6 years old, which is free.

For a long term stay visa (D) the handling fee is 180 euro
