Ateliers Campus Theatre Festival aka ACT Festival is the highly
awaited platform where entire campus talent emerges to participate ACT Festival is a non competitive theatre festival focussing on campus theatre alonside inviting thespians to showcase their best Its a cultural movement with huge youth connect The core focus is to provide professional assistance to the college troupes so as to improve their production standards Interaction and networking with between the professionals and college teams for the long-term significance for theatre in general & Indian Theatre in particular Getting work to young artists and performers

Founded in the winters of 2004 by Kuljeet Singh (Assistant
Professor, University of Delhi) Supported by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, National School of Drama & UNESCO Produced 6 full-length theatre productions & a dozen one act plays Atelier Festival since 2007 has invited more than 100 campus performances Friends of Atelier: Sheila Dikshit (Chief Minister, Delhi NCR), Saurabh Shukla (Bollywood actor & director), Gul Panag (Film actor), Vinay Pathak (Film actor), Piyush Mishra (Film actor) & many more theatre & film workers from Delhi & Mumbai
A step ahead-Four Cities
Atelier Theatre Society is based in New Delhi and has been
working extensively in the North of India. In 2010, we took a leap by taking the festival to Mumbai. 2011 is the year of tremendous expansion for Atelier as we will be taking ACT to Bengaluru & Kolkatta along with New Delhi & Mumbai. Energy of the youth is tremendous and Atelier is the vehicle. We have witnessed phenomenal change in the Campus Theatre and this movement of ACT with its four-directional energy format has to reach out to the larger cross-section of people and this is just a beginning. A good number of colleges practise theatre across India and have been invitng Atelier to host ACT in their respective cities.
Delhi Episode Delhi 100 with Hindustan Times
Hindustan Times recognised the efforts of Atelier Theatre and
finds immense reach and connect through Ateliers initiatives. Delhi in 2011 completes its 100th year as the capital of India and Hindustan Times has joined hands with ACT 2011 festival to celebrate the theatre work of Youth of Delhi in as an ASSOCIATE PARTNER. ACT 2011 will be hugely promoted through the all possible channels by Hindustan Times: Delhi 100 campaign.
