What kind of books do you like to

read?
I like to read many sorts of books. When I want to escape, my favorites
are fantasy literature, including children's books, and murder mysteries.
However, I also like to read non-fiction, about subjects which interest me
such as Egyptology, Jungian psychology, mythology and other fairly
esoteric matters. I read "serious" literature and classics as well, although
tend not to read too many classics as I find some of them dry. I absolutely
cannot abide chick lit, romance and "hard" science fiction about space
ships with lots of techno-talk in them. I'm fortunate to be part of the
Bookcrossing community and have come across many books and authors
I would not have heard of otherwise.
If you are interested, I have an annotated list of 100 books I consider top
reads, because they have stayed in my mind for a long time, sometimes
