Our Code
Our code works by depending on conditions. It will not
function if the code is inserted incorrectly. If the code is
inputted correctly, the micro:bit will display North, South,
East or West.
Once the micro:bit points to a specific degree, it will then
show either "N", "S", "E" OR "W".

Our Idea
At first, we thought we would do a clock, but we soon
realised that there is not enough space on the
micro:bit to place all twelve numbers of the clock.
We then decided we would do a compass as we are
interested in orienteering.
Research
To get some background research we first decided we were going to
research how a regular compass works.
We realised the micro:bit chip contains an orientation chip.
We then began researching our code.
We looked in a few different places, a then we finally found a tutorial
on how to create the code.
