RESPECT
Respect is a two way street.
To get respect you have to give
respect.
Respect is neither a right nor a
privilege; it is something that you
earn over time through your
actions.

Probably no greater honor can come
to any man than the respect of his
colleagues.
Respect cannot be learned,
purchased or acquired - it can only be
earned
Respect commands itself and it can
neither be given nor withheld when it
is due.

RESPECT PARENTS
Once a companion (may Allah be pleased with
him) asked the Prophet (PBUH) as to whom he
should show more kindness. The Prophet
(PBUH) replied: "Your mother." He (may Allah
be pleased with him) asked who comes next
and the Prophet (PBUH) again replied: "Your
mother." He (may Allah be pleased with him)
asked the Prophet (PBUH) yet again who comes
next. The Prophet (PBUH) replied: “Your
mother." When the companion asked for the
fourth time, only then did the Prophet (PBUH)
reply: "Your father."

speak to them a noble word.” [Quran 17: 23]

Abdullaah Ibn Mas’ood (RA) said: “I asked the
Prophet (PBUH) which deed is most liked by

RESPECTFUL
All children born in this world are equal
by birth on account of their being human
beings. None of them is rich or poor, high
caste or low caste, officer of servant.
Therefore all human beings belonging to
any country, nation or race, speaking any
language having been born in a rich or
poor family and belonging to
any religion are equal and worth of
respect. Then what is the criterian of
one's position in a society? The Quran
says: And to all are (assigned) degrees
according to the deeds (which they have
done). (46/19)
RESPECT
God tells us in the Qur’an: "We have indeed honored
the Children of Adam, and provided for them means
of transportation on land and sea, and given them
wholesome food and exalted them high above the
greater part of Our creation" (17:70).
RESPECT
According to a Hadith:
"That person is not one of us who is not merciful to our juniors and
respectful to our elders.
According to another hadith the Prophet Muhammad said:
"One who believes in Allah and the Last Day must honor his
neighbors; one who believes in God and the Last Day must honor
his guests."

Without a doubt women in Islam have a very honorable
and respected position, contrary to what many non-Muslims
say which is that Islam looks down upon women.
RESPECT
“Fear Allah in respect of women.” And: “The
best of you are they who behave best to their
wives.” And: “A Muslim must not hate his wife,
and if he be displeased with one bad quality in
her, let him be pleased with one that is good.”
And:”The more civil and kind a Muslim is to his
wife, the more perfect in faith he is.”
