IMPORTANCE OF THE ON-THE-
JOB TRAINING
One method of enhancing the skills of students by undertaking
the On-the-Job Training. Its main objective is to acquaint the
students formally to a real life work place environment. This will
help to explore the relationship between the knowledge and skills
acquired in college with those required in the working situations.
It is an experiential form of teaching and learning that takes
place in social services setting and gives the students an
educational experience in direct work practice. The objectives of
this practice are the development of competence of a
professionally reflective, self-evaluating, knowledgeable and
effective individual.

development that will help us in future work.

History and Philosophy
RLF Construction and Trading started as a hardware with
the name of RLF Hardware on 1988. They started their
business with 25 000 pieces of hollow blocks. Later on they
included basic construction materials in the item list of their
hardware. By the year 2013, they started accepting projects
as a sub-contractor and then renamed the company to RLF
Construction and Trading.
Background of the Company
RLF Construction and Trading is a company owned by Engr.
Rasene L. Farquerabao. It is located in Tabin-dagat Odiongan
Romblon. They accept horizontal and vertical projects. Most of their
projects are road construction. They are specialized in ground works
which explains why most of their projects are road constructions.
Scope of Works
RLF Construction and Trading accepts both horizontal and vertical
projects. They also offer services such as land embankment and site
clearing and grubbing but are more focused on the horizontal
projects.
