FUNCTION OF A KEYBOARD

• It is used to enter information on the computer.


• It is an important part of a computer
• It has many keys.
 Have letters A – Z.
 There are 26 alphabet keys.
 Using alphabet keys, we can type many words.
 Numbers 0 – 9 are present in the number keys.

the keyboard
 Using number keys, we can type our age,
height, weight, number values and etc.
 It has different symbols like

 There’s one CAPS LOCK key on the keyboard.
 CAPS LOCK key is used to type the letters in
uppercase or capital letters.

 Use to move the cursor to the next line.

 There are 4 arrow keys on the keyboard.
