Adjectives and Adverbs in Paragraphs

This document provides an activity to practice using adjectives and adverbs correctly. It begins with a short review of how adjectives modify nouns by providing extra information about things, people, ideas, and places, while adverbs modify verbs by providing extra information about actions. The main activity asks students to work in pairs to choose whether the underlined words in sentences should be adjectives or adverbs. It then asks students to write their own supporting sentences using adjectives and adverbs correctly. The goal is to help students better understand and distinguish between adjectives and adverbs.
