Infinitives
An infinitive looks like a verb, but it begins with “TO.”
They are usually made by adding the word to before the base verb.
Examples:
• To learn is very important
• It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think that you
are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.
• To educate a man in mind and not in morals is to educate a menace
to society.
